But what was shown in movie was wrong n why ppl have problem if someone criticizes it. Director can show anything in movie but audience can't even criticize it 😂Is it partial democracy.

Which part was wrong? lot of false propaganda was spread against demonetisation to demonize it. So lets not go there.

Showing one party as nationalist and one as anti national was completely wrong. Previous government fought four wars with Pakistan n won. And current government had to do ceasefire under USA pressure n forgot avenging the victims. Then why fake narrative.

Rahman baloch died in 2009

Iliyas Kashmiri aka major iqbal died in 2011.

Much before current government came into power.

OP, your post reeks of propaganda. That's all I'd like to say.

Dhurandhar is a brilliant piece of art and a movie that is a cultural land mark.

So the timeline of Hamza going to Pakistan is around 2003-2004.

Also nowhere have they mentioned that names r real..movie even says its a work of fiction. Now what can we do if viewers from Pak itself r corroborating the happenings? Like someone came out saying Jameel’s character is inspired by him. Someone comes n tells football scene is real. whatever is public news in India that we know is real.
Now we have no way to know if Yalina, Pinda etc r real or not. Won’t comment on that. Anyways they haven’t used real names

@Bold: Where is the proof that India did anything under US pressure?

We didn't even stop taking oil from Russia, even when the US claimed it, so what makes you think we did anything under pressure from the US?

Also, the movie started with Kandahar, which happened in the BJP Govt.

It literally showed Major Iqbal insulting his father for losing to India under Indira Gandhi, and Jameel in Pakistan, before the BJP was in power.

It only showed Manmohan Govt in a not-so-good light, and that was true, with the way they did shit in our Country. Heck, they didn't even show them badly with the way they handled 26/11 and the nonsense they did at that time.

It is just in blind Modi hate; you just saw what you wanted to see.

That shitty movie literally villainized the Army and showed a Hindu temple in a bad light, but it wasn't propaganda for these people.

bold: all these are labels... whoever can give whatever label to anything and anybody...

When giving a label (here to a piece of art), one should - at least - support the label-giving with the details one perceives as indicators.

None of the three labels work for me... I even won't give a label to both the parts except that the ensemble is a spy action-thriller (which is a movie genre).

As for the generational kind of perceiving movies, there - naturally - could and/or would be differences in perception (which is fine to me).

The Dhurandhar spoiler thread was (still is) a great read but what I missed was a discussion thread adressing the labels given without quickly giving stamps to members who saw things in a different light.
