That's bad, I have been tuning in since morning, and it's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai since 3 hours that too very old episode.

But anyways yesterday is available on Hotstar now for free users, will try to catch up and be back. Hope it's worth the effort. Repeat telecast on TV would be so much easier.

Unfortunately, I will have to miss today too because of match, will tune in if match is not fun.

Watched yesterday's episode, found it ok, I think I could have skipped itBut everyone was praising it on X, so I thought to just check it out.

The whole dance practice and all was cute, but from family dynamics point of view, I agree with Shiv, it should be fine for kids to know they are in a very loving family. But still it does sound awkward when kids discuss these things so casually; one thing, I also say this for a joint family matter, I don't like when people cut off Mom's point of view and override with sugar (mostly Grandparents do these things in family, as if their mom doesn't know a thing), Shalini is still very chilled about it, but her complains regarding kids' phone usage and all is not wrong; and not being able to remember steps and all also deserves scolding, Shiv should rather calmly support them, rather than overriding the complaint and calling it excellent. Both need to just balance it out. That's just a typical family point of view.

Now, how is Shalini so OK with Kabir with her sister? Fgs, he is criminal. It's really absurd. Now, I am really curious, can someone please tell me if she was responsible for his bail?

I officially declare Chintu as most annoying one. He was telling that Noodle Hair's FIL that they cannot afford fish, and here "my paa" the hero became zero. It's just sad, that he likes him when he is hero, but at the same time, all his speech regarding being rich to Parshuram is down the drain for sake of fish! So, they have bribed the kids, Shalini seems to be on both side, I just hope Shiv stands by in assuming there is some hidden agenda.

So, I ended up watching last part (Towards the start of the show, match was at peak). Noodle guy is one of the kind who just enrages Parshuram by pressing right buttons, including using Shiv's wife as a shield.

What an idiot! He thinks Parshuram will lose, despite Parshuram successfully foiling all his plans except for bail. None of his stupid plans worked, what makes him think he can outsmart him?

I just love Parshuram's confidence on his goals and ambitions. Just love seeing him that way, gives me sadistic pleasure to see him so angry and determined. Honestly, I feel he never really had any respect for Malhar, and rightly so.

My second favorite bit was that phone call. It was better than other romantic scenes we have including market and yesterday; you know there is also a slight difference in communication too between Parshuram and Shalini too, I don't know if anyone else notices, but when he started his phone, he was quite angry and his "hello" had that tone of annoyance, but the moment he heard Shalini's voice, his tone just cooled down to match Shiv's; he tried remaining Parshuram, trying to avoid meeting Malhar but I think he too realizes facing him is best way.

I don't know but was it not so weird that Shiv forgets his own annivesary but Parshuram has thorough research on his father-in-law's likes? Was it really for Shalini or does he really have complete kundali of Dixits. He just focuses on protecting Shalini from them, like even now

@Fats24: Shalini sometimes acts very dicey. I won't be surprised if she falls in the trap. But I am confident Parshuram won't and won't even let her fall

Irrelevant query: Do these matches not affect trp? Because 8.30 was such a crucial time!

Actually, it's vice versa, this is the genre where intense romance and love shots can be shown as passion and energy would be high, hence most thriller and mysteries have quite stronger scenes. BUT here, they have kids involved on the sets and for viewing, so they have to be wary. I think those minor talks that Shiv-Shalini have in front of kids is max they can go with slight additions of hugs and pecks (Saw some posts on Twitter of part that I missed, I will add them here because it did remind me of another convo we had here).

So someday in future if kids have day offs, they may shoot some super romantic and passionate sequences, but till then we have to keep low hopes.

That also makes me think of one more thing now that you mentioned one room house , where was Shalini expecting kids to sleep on their anniversary night? I assumed that their happy family manages to sleep together only. For Anniversary night, kids had special sleeping arrangements maybe. Only kids free romance Mr and Mrs Deshmukh can get is when kids are in school.

So, silly of me to edit my own post to make those few words bold. Nevermind; I need to relearn IF.

Anyways, seems like I was right about their sleeping arrangement, but for some reason this bed still seems small for four people and their kids are not even that small:

I too have my doubt on Shalini falling into criminal Dixits trap but when Parshuram is hovering near her it won't be possible. He will once again foil their plans at the nick of time.

You look like a cricket fan like me. I also feel matches do affect TRPs. And, now IPL will start from 28th of this month.

Shiv's language in parashuram mode "Murkh balak" can be attributed to him being a teacher's son? In one episode we learned that his father is a school teacher by the name "Shambhu dutt deshmukh" or something. Will we get to see his family?

Looks like Shiv came from struggles, studied well and landed up as top cop.

His father is no more according to the storyline actually. His father was mentioned by his FIL like this only but never was shown.

And moreover having being married early and having a child on the way (considering Pihu's age with the years of him getting married) he chose to showcase a job whatever it was available for him to convince.

The makers reached limits today by telecasting only 15 min episode. what the ****
