Vera, I think there has been a misunderstanding here, and I want to clarify my point.

My request regarding the siggies was simply based on the fact that the designs you made earlier were excellent, and I thought reusing the newly prepared ones with necessary updates/changes for December would save time for everyone. It was a suggestion, not an instruction, and certainly not an assumption that you are obligated to redo anything.

Also, regarding the Results process, yes, the moderator does hold responsibility, and I have always followed the format used in previous months. The inconsistency in September happened only because I was travelling, and even Vijay had suggested at that time that results be put in a separate GA thread. That is the reason I followed that structure now.

However, the way you responded was unnecessary. A simple clarification would have sufficed. We are all volunteering our time here, and basic respect in communication is expected from everyone involved.

Going forward, let us ensure better coordination from all sides before posting; this applies to everyone involved, not just the moderator. This will avoid confusion and unnecessary friction.

@ Red: You still don't get it, do you? Riya asked for volunteers. As such, it is the volunteer's responsibility to conduct everything related to BTRC and your responsibility to ask the volunteers before doing anything, including posting results. Who cares how it was done before? The fact remains that Riya's ask said "managing BTRC for that month is your responsibility" and since when is results separate from responsibility?

Vera and Shibz asked very respectfully why they weren't consulted. That is 100% their right to ask. And the onus is 100% on you for not only failing to ask but also now claiming that "better coordination should be from all sides". What all sides? They were doing the work for the month that they signed up for. You are the one who stepped in without asking them.

I was extra motivated this month smiley36 I’m a moody reader, so I might go back to reading just 400 pages smiley36.

Retiring with a flawless 1/1 captain record 🤣 ✨

I was honestly hesitant to take up the responsibility (blame my usual laid-back energy smiley36), but Shibz & V , you’re the real MVPs. You made this captain gig way too easy with your A+ organisation and magical Gsheet skills 🫡💛

Thanks Rado! I was merely the side kick smiley37 and a rather slow one at that.

Shibani was like isse patha nahi, isse hota nahi. smiley37

@b: can't take credit for something I did not do -- that was all Shibani. Bless her overactive brain for making everybody's lives 10x easier smiley36

I want one for myself, thanks.

Just one question. You do realise team differs from one month to other, right ? Not to mention this month has a theme.

Like how you propose to "use" those siggies? Assuming I want to put in any time re-doing them at all.

The onus was on the moderator of the forum to check with the people who were responsible for the month, not the other way around.

Thank you Shreya for understanding our hardwork. That is all the acknowledgement I need. smiley27

@ Red: Also on this. No need to thank me only. Everyone who participated in November recognizes your hard work. Just because people don't say it, doesn't mean they don't recognize it. You and Shibz made everyone's life easy with your Google sheet and the way you gave captains and readers space and time to make updates. So thank you! smiley27

@second, lol, kuch bhi... I just have more experience with organising and time management coz of being a CC and a mod and like you said, a overactive brain.
