Shakuntala being a princess of a forest is unique. Shakuntala and Dushyant's eye lock was cute. Shakuntala running away blushing was lovely. Dushyant confessing his love for Shakuntala was unexpected suddenly. A shy princess and a bold prince is the real essence of this story. Loved the leaf letter scene. Loved Dushyant saying he will never leave and marry her soon. Their love story the same as Radha Krishna was sweet. Sad that Dushyant is going. The ring scene was nice. Who is Sage Durwasa? I never imagined PraMik as Shakuntala and Dushyant but you showed it to me and I am thankful for that because I can see them play a beautiful couple even in a historical setting drama.

Shakuntala Part 2

Knowing that Shakuntala was back Anusuya and Priyamvada went to her.

P:Why did you come back Shakuntala?

S:Because King Dushyant is not there in my destiny.

A:Means?

S:He has forgotten me.

They were shocked.

Shakuntala revealed everything right from the Sage Durwasa's curse to Dushyant insulting her.

They hugged her and cried.Shakuntala couldn't control her tears.

P:Don't be weak Shakuntala.You need to live.

S:Yes...I need to live for my child.

They were shocked:Child?

S:Yes.I am pregnant.

They were shocked.

Time passed....

Shakuntala gave birth to a baby boy.He was named Bharat.

One day at Dushyant's palace, a fisherman was brought after accusing him of stealing a ring.The fisherman cried:Please believe me King...I didn't steal this ring. I had found the ring in the stomach of a fish that I caught long ago.

Dushyant was given the ring.He saw the words carved on the ring:Dushyant Shakuntala.

Suddenly he was reminded of his moments with Shakuntala.

He remembered Shakuntala coming to him claiming to be his wife.

His eyes became wet.

D:How could I forget my beloved?She was telling the truth.But I insulted her and sent away.I did such a big sin.God...forgive me.

He cried.

Dushyant gifted a lot of cold coins to the fisherman as because of him only he remembered his beloved Shakuntala.It surprised everyone.

Dushyant rushed to the forest in search of Shakuntala.

He was surprised to find a boy playing with a lion cub. Dushyant went up to the boy.

D:You are so fearless.You are playing with Lion cub.

He:Why should I fear animals?I live with them.They are my friends.

Dushyant smiled:You are so different.What is your name?

He:I am Bharat.

D:Who are your lucky parents?

B:Do you know?My father is a King.

D:Oh really?

B:I am the son of king Dushyanta and Shakuntala.

Dushyant couldn't believe his ears.

His eyes got filled up with tears.

He hugged Bharat:My son....I am your father.I am King Dushyant.

Bharata was surprised:Baapu...

Shakuntala came in search of Bharata and was shocked to see Dushyant with Bharat.

Dushyant couldn't control his tears seeing her.

D:Shakuntala....I remember everything now.I got the ring I gave you.I think you lost it.

She was surprised.

D:Will you forgive me?

The sage Kanva,Anusuya and Priyamvada also came.They were shocked to see the sight.

Shakuntala turned back wiping her tears.She shivered.

Seeing Bharata's smile Dushyant became cheerful.

D:I know that you still love me.That's why you told our son Bharat about me.

Confused about the circumstance she tried to walk away.But Dushyant held her hand tight without letting her go.

D:First you tell me...don't you love me?

She looked at his face.

He came closer to her.

D:I am very sorry Shakuntala.I know I did a sin by forgetting you.

S:No.You didn't do it purposefully.It was the Sage Durwasa's curse.

D:What?

Shakuntala explained everything.

He was shocked.

D:So you are not angry with me?

She:How can I be angry with you?

D:So you forgave me?

She nodded her head in 'yes'.

D:You didn't answer my other question.Do you still love me?

She looked at his eyes deeply.

D:Your eyes told me everything.

S:What?

D:That you love me a lot.

She became very emotional.

D:I also love you.

Dushyant and Shakuntala shared a beautiful eye lock.Dushyant took the ring she lost and made her wear it again.They smiled.

They embraced each other emotionally.

They hugged Bharat together.

The sage Kanva,Anusuya and Priyamvada were very happy.

Anusuya:So finally Shakuntala got her King back.

Seeing them Shakuntala became shy.She walked to them.

S:Yes...my true love came back to me.

They smiled.

Dushyant touched Kanva's feet.

D:Please forgive me...I insulted you very much.

Kanva became sad.

K:Don't do this son.You are correcting your unknown mistake.What more is needed?Now you get up.

Dushyant was relieved.He got up.

Dushyant took Shakuntala and Bharat to his Kingdom.Dushyant-Shakuntala had a grand Royal wedding.
