I am also kind of trying to wrap my head around all this news of leap and seperation ..But at the same time it also got me to think and lot of 'Y's started popping into my mind
Why do ITV(all regional shows) always takes this route ? Why are we not showing anything different like other country shows (don't want to name )
Why build all that chemistry b/w leads only to tear everything apart the moment they get married ?
Why can't the makers let the leads be happy even for 5 mts ?
Why do they got to show evil winning over good always ??
Why is the content becoming so toxic? The constant portrayal of women tearing each other down and the borderline vulgar styling choices make me wonder what message the makers are aiming for ?
Like ..WHY ????
As loyal fans , we get nothing in return for investing our time and emotions.
Also it raises a bigger question ..what do we actually watch fictional shows for? Is adding excessive drama really the only way to keep viewers engaged when many of us tune in jus for entertainment and a bit of escapism isn't it ?
But why do they do this ?
is it because of TRPS ? Old formulas ? Fear that happiness will make the show "boring" ? or just lazy writing ??
Is there any chance the Indian TV might eventually move towards more balanced storytelling where drama doesn not come at the cost of character development and the leads actually get the moments they deserve ?
Other country shows too have TRP ratings to measure their success but they have a wonderful way of storytelling ..What is stopping ITV from adapting those approaches ?
In the entertainment industry we've seen so many technologies and storytelling styles being adapted from international trends from filmmaking techniques to streaming formats. So why can't the same approach be applied to Indian television? Why can't shows evolve to incorporate structured storytelling , well paced romances and meaningful character arcs while still keeping audiences engaged ?
I just really really hope that someday we get shows (even limited series would work) that prioritizes steady storytelling with meaningful relationship moments , proper arcs , emotional depth and clear beginning and end
Two line update:
Ash enters as Asma the maid in SM and starts her act. Mannu is quite sharp and is doubtful but Ash covers up. Mannu faints a bit when all take care of her.
Vikku brings her into the room, and asks her to take rest when Dhairya too walks in and they both tease Mannu. (Nice scene) Neetu joins them and asks both of them to not trouble Mannu. Vikku teases that Neetu is now more in love with Mannu than him.
Three witches planning to use the video and photos of Amans childhood and Ash is given the job to do so.
Tomorrow: Ashs contact lens gets dropped on floor and Mannu asks her to show her eyes if something has gone in it. Ash Vish panic

Thank you for watching and writing the update for us

@Bold : I am just amazed how tactically these makers are over sweetening certain relationships / bondings knowing full well that these are going to turn draamtic very soon !
I feel so disconnected, that excitement of staying up to watch daily episode has just fallen flat. THE only thing they can show is the separation bearable and watchable with less of negativity and no Malla and Vishaka after leap
Yes! For god sakes less villain focus post leap. Otherwise leap will flop.

❣️ thank you Resham for the update…..
just to add quickly….Vik while busying around all evening calling the maid’s agency…was again more with Shruti?! Mannu came back from the hospital behind Gagan and Malla, and he barely turned to notice…though he did rush to her on getting dizzy. More subtle detachment. And DK coming into Mannu’s room after Vik, seemed like it was going to be awkward, but turned into nice ‘brothers’ ganging up and teasing Mannu…so again MU/not MU scene. One thing both Vik/DK got right…detective Mannu was suspicious of the maid within seconds!
Moor if dizzy=pregnancy we may have to concede the bullseye was on the terrace 😂 but writers are teasing with innuendos, so Vik may yet get another opportunity after his shaadi before all goes pear shaped, as witches are back to showing Vik Neetu’s confession video to break up ManVik.
Tedious episode but putting leap out of my mind for a day or two ☹️

Bold: it is like they are trying to sell some form of soft p**n. Why does such styling exist in any story? Even the FLs always have to show their backs in blouses that are barely there.
We always talk of culture & traditions. Any foreigner watching our shows will think all women are crabs & evil & loose.
IB department needs to tighten the content but instead they are hands in glove with the producers.
I wonder in which century ITV will shift to limited seasons. Their greed has no end.

Same yaar😭. Me my husband always fight on this. He is like why you are getting emotional for a show ?😢
I am like you will not understand so better keep quite😡.
This leap News making me so sad and the way they are breaking ManVik apart that’s more heart wrenching 😢. Can’t take my kiddos character getting butchered like this😢🤬. Him getting to know the truth and getting angry at everyone including Mannat is understandable and justified also👍. If it’s the reason for their separation I am fine with it but him suspecting Mannat and DK it’s not at all acceptable for me😢.
Can’t see my kiddo getting ruined like this😢.
I am not sure I will watch the show😢. Though I love Adnan but my heart breaks for Vikrant 😭. Such a pure and noble soul and they are gonna ruin his core character 😭🤬
I get you. I ALWAYS get emotionally attached to a show & family thinks i am nuts getting so upset about it.
Because of my insta account i have started feeling the pressure to post as well.
The female leads are my weakness and i cant bear to see them suffer. And watching Ayesha get slapped, abused & shoved really gets to me.
AdSha are so wonderful together 🧿❤️.
Sad that this industry thinks a happy couple just CAN’T exist.
I am Team No Leap No Pregnancy. But majaal hai ki Mukta will listen to the audience!
