Choice..I somehow dont like those stuff...The whole world worships coffee..people drink litres of tea..but I never get the hype around them.

It gets really awkward in social situations...people offer me coffee first..then tea..when i politely refuse both they tell 'Bournvita toh piti hogi na'..ultimate insult yaar..

My neighbor's 2 year old grandson drinks tea!! Not very healthy but it is said to be common among kids who are from North karnataka

The worst part is that I dont drink Bournvita too..they look at me as if I have come from another planet..they refuse to believe that a woman in her late 30s doesn't drink tea/coffee. They take it as a challenge to make me drink something..they then offer either sprite or coke..people often heave a sigh of relief when i settle for rose milk.

I mean ..kya problem Hai unki? Why dont they agree to give me plain milk??is there some superstition?? I use all of my will power to restrain myself from telling them 'bhang milake de dijiye '..it helps that I dont know the kannada word for bhang .it is always a fellow Kannadiga woman who puts me in a spot
