Agreed on that! The book - I actually felt meandered a lot, I have never felt the urge to re-read it. But the movie! I have rewatched like a million times! smiley42

I recommend the book Becoming by Michelle Obama because it is very eloquently written. Becoming has interesting anecdotes and depicts her mindset.

The Hollow Boys series by Monty Jay

It has an interesting mix of dark romance, angst, and raw emotion. Each book dives into different couples and characters who are messy but unforgettable in their own way.

Series is interconnected so follow the ordersmiley36

A book everyone should read if they haven't is The Giver. The book is a great take on a supposed Utopian society that turns out to be dystopian and how living in such a society isn't actually good for all.

A Night Divided by Jennifer A Nielson

A historical fiction that had me hooked from beginning to end. It's about a family who has been stranded separately on two sides of the Berlin Wall. The protagonist, Gerta, is a young teenage girl, filled with the same rebellious spirit as her father and determined to reunite with him again. The story is tender, emotional and gripping at the same time and Gerta has been one of my favourite protags to read about this year! smiley27

I recommend the following book smiley9

Don't be sad by Dr A'id al-Qarni

The book is initially turned to the muslim community in a quest of spirituality and replies in this troubled life. It can be easily read by non muslims too as it has aspects and views from scholars, politicians and some personalities who tried to change the world.

The book is a reflection of how to deal with life's struggles and our emotions.

One book I’ll never get tired of recommending or rereading: Ponniyin Selvan.

It’s actually a series — beginning with Aditya Chozhan, the crown prince and heir to the throne, and leading up to the eventual ascension of Arulmozhi Varman, later known as Raja Raja Chozhan. (That part happens off-page, but the story beautifully builds toward it.) I’d say more, but anything beyond this would be a spoiler.

But damn, does it pack a punch. If you love angst, drama, action, a hint of romance, political conspiracy, clever plotting, and women who can manipulate events without ever being caught in the act, this is the book for you.

The best part? Nothing ever feels over the top. Despite its rich mix of genres and subplots, the story stays incredibly tight and immersive. It’s one of those rare epics that keeps you turning the pages and staying up late just to know what happens next — at least, that’s how it was for me!smiley42

I have a recommendation for you all .

It's the first promise by Ashapurna Devi ..I have read both Bengali and English version.. it's a journey of a little girl who's married off early and her sprint to fight against the rules of narrow minded society.

You all can try once this book..I'm sure you are gonna love it.

I would like to recommend a book to everyone

"Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

This humorous fantasy novel follows an unlikely duo, an angel and a demon, as they join forces to prevent the apocalypse. It's a witty and entertaining read with a unique blend of humor, adventure, and clever storytelling.

I recommended book

The Little Prince: by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

It's about young prince who visits various planets, including Earth, and addresses themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss. Despite its style as a children's book, The Little Prince makes observations about life, adults, and human nature.
