Amaal’s age ghotala..?

In a recent episode, Amaal was talking about his family dynamics and referenced the 2005 Mumbai floods. He mentioned that he was around 7–8 years old at the time and was ignored by his own aunt. But if he really was 7–8 in 2005, that would place his birth year around 1997–1998.

Here’s the odd part: his younger brother was born in 1995. 🤔

So did I mishear what he said, or did he actually mess up his own timeline?
