I agree with Nutmeg. Reading and voting out of so many entries is indeed overwhelming for the readers. I would actually suggest that if there are so many entries people create multiple voting rounds to make it more easier. For eg., you can post 50 entries and ask people to vote for 3 or 4 in the first voting round. Then another 50 entries in the second round and the remaining in the third round. In the final round the voting would be of those entries that got maximum votes in the previous rounds and then choose the winner.
