Our earlier ranking system relied heavily on official Instagram data via Meta’s tool CrowdTangle. But when that service was shut down, we saw it as an opportunity — not a setback.

Instead of patching together a half-baked solution, we decided to pause and rebuild the system from the ground up, with a focus on real influence, not just vanity metrics.
