Just wrote something what we discussed yesterday
BHAGYA'S HOME – BHAGYA'S ROOM – EVENING
Rishab angrily zips up his bag. His hands tremble, his face flushed—not with guilt, but betrayal.
Rishab (muttering under breath):
"Inko lagta hai main koi aisa-waisa ladka hoon? Jo har ladki ke peechhe bhaagega?
Yakeen sirf tab aayega, jab proof hoga. Bharosa sirf kehne se nahi, bharosa karne se hota hai."
He throws his shirt into the bag with a sigh that carries more pain than anger.
INT. HALLWAY – CONTINUOUS
Bhagya stands like a statue. Her guilt is loud, but her lips stay shut. She watches him.
Bhagya (softly):
"I'm sorry, Rishab... please, aisa mat karo."
She reaches out—his shoulder brushes past hers. He opens the door.
And sees... Amma.
Amma:
"Arre beta, kahaan ja rahe ho?"
Rishab (forcing a smile):
"Woh Amma, kuch urgent kaam hai... kuch dino mein wapas aajaaunga. Aap apna aur Bhagya ka khayal rakhna."
Amma silently nods, sensing the storm beneath his calm voice.
He steps out.
Suddenly, his phone rings.
Rishab:
"Hello?"
Voice (panicked):
"Kidhar hai Rishab? Yahaan toh syaapa ho gaya hai!"
LAVISH BUNGALOW – NIGHT
The mansion glows like a Diwali night. Rishab steps out of the cab. His eyes scan the gates that now seem too big for his mood.
Servants rush to open the door.
RK(Rishi Kapoor) Rishab's father:
"Rishab! Tu aa gaya! Thank god... ab tu hi sambhal Rahul ko."
Rahul paces back and forth like a teenager before exam results.
Rishab (smiling):
"Kya hua Rahul?"
Rahul:
"Bhai... main ek ladki se pyaar karta hoon."
Rishab (chuckles):
"Toh problem kya hai? Ja, confess kar."
Rahul (hesitates):
"Kiya toh... lekin woh South Indian hai. Parents nahi maanenge."
Rishab:
"Aise chhoti baat mein darr gaya? Kab aa rahe hain woh log?"
Rahul (reads message):
"'Kal aa rahe hain. Gusse mein hain. Akka ne kaha sambhal legi.' "
He looks at Rishab and says "Bhai... dar lag raha hai."
Rishab (reassuringly):
"Main hoon na. Teri shaadi pakki karwa ke hi rahunga."
Next Day
Rishab (to staff, commanding):
"Poora ghar phoolon se sajao. Sirf mogra chahiye.
Non-veg kitchen se hatao, aisa lage yeh ghar satvik hai.
Mandir mein diya jale, agarbatti ki khushboo chaaron taraf ho.
Aur South Indian khana... uski khushboo bahar tak jaaye!"
Servants nod in a flurry of motion.
As he instructs, his thoughts drift...
Rishab (to himself):
"Kya Boss Mam mujhe yaad karti hogi? main unhe mann main bhi mam kyun bula raha hoon. Rishab tu boss hai tera koi mam nahi hai. Chodo unki bathein aaj... "
He cuts himself short. "Bas Rahul ka soch."
Suddenly—
Rahul (screaming):
"Bhai! Woh log aa gaye!"
Rishab rushes to the front—but halts.
His footsteps slow... his face pales...
Appa, Amma, Anna, Anni... and Boss Mam—Bhagya.
Rishab (soft gasp):
"Gaya tu Rishab. Aaj toh gaya."
He makes a U-turn—sprints to his room like a kid caught stealing sweets.
HALL – MOMENTS LATER
Bhagya (to Appa):
"Appa... unhone itni mehnat ki hai. Gussa chod dijiye.
Revati ke liye... please."
Appa softens—nods silently.
RK greets them:
"Aaiye! Apna hi ghar samjhiye."
RK (whispering to Rahul):
"Tera bhai kahaan hai? Sambhalne bola tha, khud gayab ho gaya!"
Rahul rushes, drags Rishab out.
Rishab steps into the hall, heart pounding.
Bhagya sees him. Her heart skips a beat.
He didn't leave after all.
But... what's with the ponytail?
Before RK can speak—
Appa and Amma (in unison):
"Daamadji!"
RK (shocked):
"WHAT?!"
Rishab:
"Dad... main samjhaata hoon... shant ho jaaiye."
Bhagya speaks to herself: Agar humne ye bathaya ki ye ek fake shadi hai toh Revati aur rahul ka rishta toot jayega.
Rishab speaks to himself: Hamari galti ke wajah se inka rishta toot nahi saktha.
He glances at Bhagya, who nods subtly. Eyes meet. Silent understanding.
Rishab (clears throat):
"Bhagya meri biwi hai... humne chhupaya kyunki Bhagya chahti thi dono parivaar ka ashirwad sath main mile."
RK:
"WHAT?"
Bhagya (sweetly):
"Ji Papaji... main chaahti thi yeh khushi dono parivaaron ke saath share ho."
RK (confused):
"Par mile kaise?"
Rishab (avoiding):
"Woh chhodiye Dad kabhi aur din discuss karlenge ab rahul ki baath karthe hai... haina??"
Amma whispers to Appa, praising the family. Appa thinks... and then:
Appa:
"Bhagya agar iss ghar ki bahu hai... toh Revati bhi ban sakti hai."
Rahul beams.
Rishab (whispering to Bhagya):
"Ab phir se humsafar act shuru..."
Bhagya (dryly):
"All the best."
Rishab (smirking):
"All the best, Boss Mam."
They prepare to leave.
Appa:
"Ek minute. Bhagya yahaan rahegi. Woh ladke wale hai"
Bhagya:
"Appa main Ladki wali hoon main nahi maanthi yeh sab"
Appa (sternly):
"Ham maante hain, bas."
Rishab (grinning):
"Toh main ladkiyon ki taraf se hoon! agar bhagya ladke walon ke taraf se hai toh"
Appa chuckles. Bhagya smiles.
RISHAB'S ROOM – LATER
Bhagya (wide-eyed):
"Yeh tumhara room hai?"
Rishab (teasing):
"Nahi, bhade ka liya. Impress karna tha na aapke Appa ko."
Bhagya:
"Toh tumne jhoot bola ke tumhare pas paisa nahi ghar aur khane ke liye?"
Rishab:
"Nahi woh sach tha.. Nahi hai mere pass as ye sara Mere papa ka paisa hai. Main apne dam pe kuch banna chahta hoon."
She nods, impressed but hiding it.
They enter and bhagya stares at the image of rishab which is placed on the wall.
Rishab (winks):
"Maantha hun main handsome hun lekin Zyada ghooriye math warna nazar lag jaayegi."
Rishab heards knock on teh door. Rishab opens the door. It's Mia.
Mia (cheerfully):
"Sir, RK Sir ne bheja hai. Yeh kapde aapki wife ke liye hain."
Rishab facepalms. Mia leaves after delivering the message.
Bhagya glares. Questions burning in her eyes.
Bhagya (snaps):
"Yeh kya tha Rishab? Kyun kiya ye sab?"
Rishab (blurts):
"Aapse door rehna chahta tha... main nahi chahta tha aap mujhse pyaar karein."
Bhagya (hurt):
"Toh directly bol dete!"
Rishab (mischievous):
"Lekin aapke expressions bhi toh dekhna tha"
She laughs despite herself and rishab laughs looking at her. Bhagya heads to change.
Rishab : Aap kuch khayengi?
Bhagya (returning):
"Khana Appa ke saath kha liya hai mera pet full hai no thanks... mujhe neend aa rahi hai. Main kahan sooon?"
Rishab (grinning):
"Aapke pass do options hai ek toh woh Couch ya... mere saath iss bed main marzi aapki "
She glares.
He runs to the bathroom.
Later, he returns—Bhagya's asleep, a pillow wall dividing the bed.
He smiles, lies down beside her, their backs touching through a fortress of fluff.
Both smile into the darkness.
