Vikrant Saluja as I see

Hello dearoos, as said I am penning my thoughts on Vikrant as I am trying to see him from the past few episodes. Agree to disagree.

Vikrant Saluja - the svave businessman who was happy, cheerful, practical and who called spade a spade. His dreams were not big but Mezbaani ani his home return to India.

On his way back he meets this girl who is cheerful, happy go lucky and full of vibrance. He being a true person genuinely felt the warmth of Ms Mannat in their first meet itself.

He sees her as his perseverance, as his reflection, she is the person who makes him smile and feel happy. He loves his family, his relationships, his bond with his parent especially Is his treasure. But what happens when two opposite people keep on meeting and form a bond.

When Manvik got together and met through Mezbaani their relationship developed into a smooth bond of friendship. Knowingly unknowingly Vikrant was smitten by Mannat. She too was dependent on him. Her Babaji ka Banda is what she believed for. And why not, each and every time he used to be there as her saviour whether she asks for it or not. She developed trust in him.

Remember when he said to her after saving her from the lusty goons that he has been a different person altogether with her. And he is not like this with anyone else but her.

Taking out this line of thread my analysis of his character cannot go wrong.

Mannat is not his punching bag as what we have been witnessing and incorporating our views on. She is his shell which he doesn't want to break at any cost. Yes, he puts her in question every time but him putting her in question is his way of endorsing his right on her. Somewhere down the line he has believed through their journey that only he has her as his, noone else can see this reflection of him apart from Mannat.

Yes, he questions her, demands proof from her every now and then but does this mean he is blinded, No for me. He started to love her without his knowledge. He felt his comfort in her without his own permission to love her.

Mannat is what everything is for him, his calm and composed mind thinks of her, she becomes his saviour in thick and thin, and he knows that.

And this is her who has affected him deep down. She is in his soul, deep down buried under him. Her betrayal has been his biggest blow and he is not capable of taking it within him. This one person who solely belongs to him is going away from him and this is where he bursts out in anger and in pain. How can she leave me? Is his righteous question. He married as he is a gentleman and true to heart, thinking he made a mistake. But on seeing his love back in front of him claiming to use him as a deal has pushed his love behind the unsaid walls.

We only see his anger, his questioning power of proofs, I see his profound pain which screams volumes that please do not make my love difficult, this one feeling of him which is his, he lives every breath of it and in his heart he doesn't allow anyone to peep in. The one person who has access to his heart is the one who has broken him in pieces.

Yes he knows he is surrounded by all his people whom he adores, respects and loves but noone understands him like her. She cannot be his pain, but she has made him feel hurt.

His anger and his discomfort is only for Mannat which is reserved and nobody knows about it.

He screams on her, fights with her but in the end he gets defeated as he loses his solace within her. As the journey progresses what I see in him is - he is moving in shell and is keen on breaking it but cannot.

It's he who is completely dependent on her unlike otherwise. And this is not known to him, and definitely not to the world.

I am as a viewer still waiting to get hold of Vikrant Sir as it is for Mannat and somewhere he will bounce back

The writers have penned him well , it's just that we are too ecstatic or disappointed with the turn of events been thrown on us every now and then in the name of entertainment and TRP games.

All of the above is what I see Vikrant as, not necessarily it can be for everyone here. As said it's a complete different view from my side.

Beautiful words and i have the same observation. ..

Now Vikrant is just speaking out of hurt and anger !! Because for him he is the victim ..he can’t understand what to do next ..because no matter how much fights they had ..he had always come back to her as the person Mannat was always the same ..righteous girl

But now to him ..the illusion has broken ..

He is married into a forced relation ..his mom is doing such shitty things ..he is just tired and wants peace …

When he said that I had to bow down to miss mannat..he din mean it out of ego..

He basically thinks that he is the victim here and he is supposed to be angry and mad at mannat and Mannat being proved right against his family is just hurting him more ..

It’s just his hurt and anger speaking at the moment

Love the character and m sure he will have his realisation if his family soon

I am hoping he starts to realize soon he is a victim of abuse as well😬 based on last night episodes he truly doesn't believe he can do such a thing.

It’s emotionally beautiful and heartfelt. It’s so easy to judge him right now but no one understands what he is going through 💔. People only see his anger towards Mannat but it’s not his anger in fact it’s his hurt and pain which is coming out as anger. For him she is the one who understands him and like he said to her he is completely different around her, himself without any pretence of business man or as her boss. He is just himself with her happy,smiling and care free❤️🧿. She brings out that side of him when he is with her.

And most importantly for him she is not understanding him at this moment like she accused him of cheating. He is also hurt for thinking that she sold his love for money. We know the real reason but he doesn’t know that why Mannat did it. So he is hurt and in so much pain of loosing her his only getaway from worldly things because she is his solace in a way.

Again agree with one thing that writers have in fact penned down him so beautifully the way he is righteous, pure and noble soul. In fact he is very naive to understand this manipulation of his family because he really loves them and trusts them. Problem is that no one understands him like Mannat does. She has seen his that side which nobody knows. Everyone is just trying to use him for their own benefits💔😢

Thanks Trupti for the tag. I actually don't think his anger is misplaced and completely agree what he must be going through considering so.much happened in 2 days.

No chappals , for me the problem was with the hall drama, the way he reacted when he thought Mannat was the guilty party, he dragged her, all the 3 of them yelled at her , screamed, Neetu called her names, almost slapped her vs how he shushed his dad when he realized it's his mom and ended the party.

Infact Mannat tried her best to save him from this embarrassment but because he thought Mannat was guilty he wanted to prove her wrong, embarrass her and get her harassed by his family (he definitely knows how Neetu is) .

He didn't care about CA a girl where the guests were gossiping but he cared enough to end the party when the guilty party was his mom.

Thank you for the tag Resham and your beautiful analysis of Vikrant’s complex layered psyche.…..he’s appears straight forward, principled and honourable but he reacts and acts so differently with Mannat that I can’t figure out why, so I’m going to read and absorb your thoughts a few times…..

I do believe he loves her very deeply and so the pain from her ‘betrayal’ he’s feels that much more intense💔 and his anger is in wanting her to feel this pain.

Bold That's true..even Adnan said about it in his iv, Vikrant doesnt know whether he lives or not if she goes away though she comes to him as his pain...He is not able to take the very thought of her selling his love for money and rejecting his love for money..He has been given that pain and hurt two times 1)at Mezbani by asking shares in Mezbaani and 2)at grihapravesh by telling her deal with ARS...In his opinion and point of view she blew off his love ❤️ Obviously he is hurt and shows anger on her rightfully..
