Karan Aujla reposts video alleging Kiara Advani’s “disgusted reaction” on flight, sparks internet reactions

Punjabi singer Karan Aujla sparked attention on social media after he reposted a video criticising actor Kiara Advani’s behaviour on a flight. The screenshot of the repost quickly circulated online, generating discussions across platforms.

The original video was shared by Instagram user Kartikey Tiwari, who described his experience travelling from Jaipur to Mumbai with his mother and brother. The family had booked business class seats on the same flight as Satyaprem Ki Katha actors Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, who were returning from a promotional event in Jaipur.

In the clip, Tiwari claimed that his mother accidentally sat in Kiara’s seat. After an air hostess pointed out the mistake, she moved to her assigned seat. Tiwari alleged that Kiara reacted with what he described as a “disgusted” look upon realising a non-celebrity had briefly occupied her place. He also noted that Kartik appeared “ajeeb sa” (a bit odd) and interacted only with Kiara in English, avoiding communication with the airline staff.

Tiwari further stated that after landing, when an air hostess requested a photo with the actors, both declined, saying they were running late, before leaving the aircraft.

The video was later shared by an Instagram news page and subsequently reposted by Karan Aujla. This repost drew attention from social media users, with some joking about Aujla’s involvement, while others speculated it may have been shared accidentally due to Instagram’s repost feature. Comments included, "Lagta hai @karanaujla paaji ne bhi face kiya hai that's why he reposted it," and "Bhai par Aujla ne repost kyun kiya." Some users suggested the repost may have been unintentional.

Although the screenshot of Aujla’s repost went viral, the video is no longer visible on his Instagram account, indicating that it was removed shortly after being shared.

The incident highlights the rapid spread of social media content, where a simple repost can attract significant attention and speculation, especially when involving celebrities. In this case, both Aujla’s repost and the original video generated widespread commentary, even though the circumstances on the flight remain disputed.
