The reason for the Bollywood churning only crappy movie is inflated collection of Housefull 5. Most producers believe these trade pundits and producers numbers which are already inflated 15-20% at least. Then there is corporate bookings, buy one get one free, Rs. 99 mid weeks and all other gimmicks where producers don't earn a penny just to get to 100 Crore Club.

Instead of focusing upon good script, they are doing this PR gimmick to show how successful the movie is. This generation don't mind watching "brain rot" comedy, after all this is tiktok and insta generation, but at least make them laugh. Despite Akki trying so hard, the movie was not at all funny.

If you want to make skin show, sleaze comedy movie, promote it like one and go full in like American Pie or Masti. Make it in 50 Cr. budget with lots of girls and show skin, why spend 400 Cr. to make movie like Housefull ?

The way paid media, trade pundits and the production house are going after the box office numbers, publishing daily one poster claiming it to be success makes me laugh.

Cinegoers should avoid such crappy cinema.

Go and watch STOLEN instead with Abhishek Banerjee. Such movies never get good release.

Housefull 5 drops further on wednesday. Will escape the flop tag but thats about it.

Akshay's PR doing this 3 hits in 2025 jaap but actually none of his 3 releases so far Sky force, Kesari and H5 are hits. They just did not flop but even that is being seen as an accomplishment now.

According to Sacnilk, the budget is more than 300 cr...according to Wikipedia, the budget is 240 cr... given that nowadays very often the worldwide gross collection has become the measure for the verdict, the movie could reach the 240 cr at least. However, basically, it is a sham, imo.
