In Housefull 5, the central conflict makes no sense. Why would Ved and Maya partner with the fake Jolly (Abhishek Bachchan) when they have nothing to gain and would actually suffer losses? Even more illogical, they help kill the doctor—an act that only hurts their own interests. The real fight should have been among the company’s board members, because if the real Jolly doesn’t want the money, the inheritance would logically be divided among them. The four fake Jollys and their wives should have no legal or logical claim to the fortune. Their involvement feels forced and undermines the plot’s credibility.
