Housefull 5 closed its run at 162 crore nett and became the worst performing film of the series by a margin and the first one NOT to become a HIT. These sort of films generally see negativity but here the film did not even have the negativity at the level of Housefull 4 which became a major HIT but it was a totally different story this time. The genre is pretty much critic proof as long as the content is there but this time it was obviously not there.
