Pitch report: It's bright, sunny but cool here. The pitch we are using here is the Gabba soil pitch. It was used in the semifinal. Throughout the tournament when they played on this pitch there was pace and bounce for the pacers and the batters had a good time as well. We have seen some good cricket played on this pitch - Salman Butt

These two sides met earlier in the league stage. Left-armer Mohammad Sayyam had India in a spot of bother but Aaron George dropped anchor and Kanishk Chouhan's late help got India a competitive total before he combined well with Deepesh to share six wickets and bowl out Pakistan for 150 to win by 90 runs.

India have had different players perform in different games with both bat and ball, which is a great sign. Captain Ayush Mhatre has had a modest tournament by his standards and would be looking forward to put on his best when it matters the most. Wicket-keeper batter Abhigyan Kundu recorded the highest individual score of the comp when he smashed 209 off just 125 balls against Malaysia. Right arm pacers Deepesh Devendran (India) and Abdul Subhan (Pakistan) lead the bowling charts with 11 wickets apiece. Abdul has taken one game lesser compared Deepesh to get there.

It's a big game for these youngsters. A day where their pressure handling skills and character will be tested apart from the usual before the U19 World Cup that starts next month in Zimbabwe. Unbeaten India take on a talented Pakistani side and in the past these two sides have given us some humdingers in past and we've seen them progress to become massive stars of the senior teams.
