Team Abhira

As both the discussion threads are filled with Abhira hate and Armaan's gaslighting, I would love people who are in Abhira's team to discuss their pov's here without facing unnecessary bullying.

My sincere request to all Abhimanyu and Armaan fans to please not turn this thread into battleground, as you have already done in the other ones. Normal discussion karna hai toh theek hai:

I'm not team Abhira because the girl irritates the heck out of me most days. But it is also true that she's the only moderately likable character left in the show. Also it is nice to have a place to discuss without skipping through pages and pages of so-called best dad fawning.

I really hope this thread doesn’t turn into a battlefield😂 Right now I am supporting Ab only because she has gone through immense pain and trauma none of which was her fault. His runaway, fake, cheese factory husband has crossed every possible limit of cruelty.

At this point, I genuinely want Ab to file for both custody and divorce. Let that Ar runaway cry blood tears. Maybe, for Maira’s sake they can figure out co-parenting in the future but as for an Abhimaan reunion? That ship has sailed. It’s over. Ab should move on.

Either toh she live single and shift to Japan with her extended family or her character can be ended just like Naira. Moron can raise his daughter with geetu (because she seems to be a sorted woman) and after someday, the leap comes up with grown up Maira's story.

Nahi yaar, in previous gen also I didn't wanted Abhir to go back to Abhimanyu because it's not normal for a child to face such traumatic court cases ever in life and sudden unwanted changes in their life can result into lifetime trauma. It's better if she divorce him, win the custody battle but give Maira's custody back to him and once for all let him realize what a loser man he is...

Yeah I don't think she will walk away, they will probably share custody and there will be lots of drama.

Abhira as a character is someone who has a lot of potential to be explored from a “rishta” perspective, but alas the writers chose to stand by a character with lots of extra characters and not much story potential, which is why it has led to this current mess…

Leaving aside the current mess, is it as simple as it sounds, Abhira getting Maira to know her mom and Abhira fighting or even sharing custody. Abhira is a stranger for Maira, why would the child trust Abhira. Her first instinct is to question her father about this, does anyone really think her father is actually going to relate his own choice to hide her existence from her mother. What guarantees that Armaan is going to actually tell the whole story of the child’s existence, that she only came to be because her mother didn’t give up on wanting her own child. His own first instinct is to continue with the false narrative that Abhira put her own child in danger or that she was irresponsible. Why would he deviate from the narrative when he would lose the child? So it wouldn’t be surprising if the child doesn’t want to see Abhira. Armaan as a character is only going to get more ugly if a custody battle happens. Abhira is going to only endure more pain if a custody battle happens, she is going to be torn between wanting to know her child and causing hurt to her child by separating her child from another parent, the only parent the child has known until now. At this point, the only reason why Abhira is with the 2 ladies is they are the only ones who can actually let the child know the whole picture or at least tell Armaan what Abhira has been through…

Abhira might be a doormat for choosing to stay with the same people who always have treated her badly, but her core characteristic is she is a good and genuine person who genuinely wishes good for everyone. Despite the fact that she ended up with 2 people who hated her, the only good thing the writers showed is that the love she is receiving from these 2 women is only because of her own forgiving kind nature, she won them from her heart as she truly accepted them as family, and that it has nothing to do with Armaan…
