Do you think this was inappropriate?

The director cuts the shot and Nargis still went on and somehow forcibly kissed Emraan, yes I know she was just pulling out his leg or sth but isn't it embarrassing and inappropriate? He clearly looked embarrassed after the crew broke into laughter.

He's a very nice guy offscreen and I never thought Nargis was bad either but yeah this situation is too much if genders are reversed.

The crew shouldn't just start laughing when the actors look embarrassed 😏

Depends. On what kind of rapport they had. It's inappropriate in a typical professional relationship. If they were close /friends not that big of a deal. Tricky territory and definitely not a good idea if you're a man.

Actually it's not easy to break a kiss off the moment somebody says cut. Not if you're a good actor/good kisser. There's a rhythm to it. You need a few seconds to 'retreat ' . Not that that's an excuse to keep at it but idk or maybe you CAN snap out of it if you're a good actor. One of the dilemmas of method acting maybe.

There would be hoopla if genders were reversed, but it's because most industry men have a bad reputation and deservingly so. There are so many videos for proofs. For one of the promotions Akshay randomly lifted Deepika (or Chitrangada?) and swirled her or something. She was visibly uncomfortable. Here that doesn't seem to be the case...Nargis is a tomboy, she looked very playful in the video. The whole crew Was laughing. If there were uncomfortable vibes, reactions would be different. This seemed friendly teasing, like Nargis pulling Emran's leg.

But it's always always better not to pull such tricks no matter what relationship you share or what your intention is. Never a good idea.
