It's not a wild theory... It's a highly probable theory because this way, they can easily whitewash Ayushman, his arrogance, narcissism and his general a-holery and give him a respectable exit from the show.

But I am going to be HIGHLY disappointed and angry if they show ACP Pradyuman undercover and Ayushman working for him... Because that'll hurt even more. Although I strongly believe they are going to take this route and turn everything into a YSPT by ACP Pradyuman and possibly Ayushman.

I just brought up the reference to that episode because back then Abhijeet was shot when he was trying to protect a kid; the same thing is happening next week too with him getting shot while protecting a kid. So, I found that aspect similar.

ACP Pradyuman and Ayushman's story sequence is indeed confusing... He can't exactly be a criminal but if he isn't then why was he following ACP Pradyuman? What exactly does he want? Or to be more precise what exactly are the makers planning?

Maybe we have another Daksh type situation in our hands

The writers have no plan , they're piecing it together based on the reaction of the audience i guess

You can very confidently remove the last two words of your second statement: "I guess".

The writers "ARE" planning everything and piecing the story together based on the reaction of the audience. Else why would they have rushed to bring ACP sir back when they had originally planned to have Parth as the ACP for a longer time? Shivaji sir himself had said that his vacation duration was uncertain which means the makers didn't have the initial plan to bring ACP sir back this soon but they had to do it because of the audience's reaction.

point here is if he is helping ACP sir then

1 why he burnt acp sir ki pic

2 that shot from last sunday episode where duo was arguing and he comes in front of trio picture

Tbh, it was pretty obvious from the beginning that Ayushman is working with or for ACP Pradyumn .

There's literally no other reason for him to be so openly hostile to old members of the team. He's already their boss so the power equation is in place. All he'd to do is to act detached , aloof and lofty . But it almost seemed like he was in a hurry to establish himself as their enemy in their minds. Create maximum negative impact . All these seems to be part of a bigger plan . Either both ACP Pradyumn and Ayushman were working separately on Barbosa case and that led them to each other or they were in cahoots from the beginning.

He was probably burning the photos so that his deep cover is maintained.

Abhijeet ka inteqaam part 2 next week . But now that Daya and Abhijeet are mentally separated or acting as if they are , wo maza nehi aane wala.

Sachin, Purvi, Daya , Abhijeet, ACP Pradyumn all of them have suffered such lethal injuries again and again. Isi liye ye log shadi nehi karte , waise bhi inke life expectancy kam hone wala hai as a result of so many injuries .

But they keep coming back . That's why CID is such a name . Not just because they solve crimes , bahut log crime solve karte hai.. but these people are just unstoppable, they keep rising and coming back stronger , more determined, more devoted to their work.

Sachin ko hi dekh lo.

At no point do they say ab bas ho gaya humara .

All the bold parts Absolutely!! These people are devoted to serving the civilians and the country. Family, apni khushi ye sab matter nehi karta inn logon ke liye...They will leave the job the day they die, not before that. This is why as characters they are so much loved everywhere.
