See this, even a normal peaceful discussion on surrogacy leads to negativity and personal attacks like above then you claim only one side is doing it

None bashed or used derogatory terms for characters or members in my thread, this is how this forum works, people are simply intolerant to presence of people with different opinions

I didn’t say it was one-sided. I definitely agree that negativity comes from both sides. But at least we don’t keep dragging history and applying it to Gen 4 characters just to stir things up. That’s where things really spiral. People keep projecting past grudges and then act surprised when it turns into chaos.

Also, people are far more intolerant these days. That’s just how things work now. Not everyone has the patience to keep their wits about them, and it’s easy to get provoked, especially when the same patterns repeat again and again.

And the thing is — what I initially said yesterday still stands. The haters already have numerous threads where they, along with their entire minion army, go on endlessly calling Abhira names, bashing her character, and mocking people who like her. Even if we try to create our own theead, they come barging in and attack us there too. It’s not like Gen 4 fans are hovering around their threads — most of us don’t even bother because we already know what to expect. Then why can’t they extend the same courtesy and spare us one thread? Like the BTS one, for example. Why is that too much to ask? Oh kind souls, grant us just a sliver of peace?

The issue isn’t with people having different opinions — that’s expected and even healthy in a discussion forum. The real problem begins when “different opinions” are consistently laced with passive digs, misrepresentation, and whataboutery. It’s not about being intolerant, it’s about being tired.

People are happy to engage in discussion — but it has to go both ways with mutual respect, not hidden jabs under the garb of “different opinions.”

Now you are just defending personal attacks done on people you may not like, that's not how "mutual respect" works, you can't enjoy unprovoked hate and negativity then complain about it. What you want is that it should not happen to Abhira and the group that aligns with that view

But sadly, the forum is not exclusive to one group and no character is above criticism. But the discussion about that is in a neutral setting but now we know we both are biased so we can't have that so I end this from my side.

Fair enough, I agree that no character is above criticism and the forum isn’t exclusive to any one group. But let’s not confuse criticism with constant targeted hate and name-calling, which is what much of it has become. There’s a difference between discussing a character’s flaws and enjoying their pain or dragging fans who don’t share your views.

Also, I never said only Abhira should be spared — my point has always been about keeping things respectful on both sides. But if the same few people keep entering spaces made by Gen 4 fans only to instigate fights or drop snide comments, then don’t be surprised if they get called out.

If you’re stepping away, that’s your call, but let’s not rewrite the narrative before exiting.

This forum doesn't have a Gen 4 exclusive place, it is YRKKH forum which is a legacy show and has viewers from all Gens

Nah not everyone hates each other. Rani is a fan of Abheera who I dislike yet I am good friends with her. I am good friends with Nutty and Aps etc who are fans of Armaan/Abhimaan Although I don't support Abhimaan I happily read the FF's of Aps whenever she tags me as my friendship is more valuable than preferance. I don't believe in hating REAL people over FICTIONAL characters
