Even the arguments he gave while talking to ishaan about his friend having a baby were kind of right, and I loved the point where he said maa baap apne failed career ka frustration bache pr nikalte hain. Rani is too young to understand all this, and DJ has his anger issues-the kid's life will be hell if it's parents keep on doing what they are doing right now. Also Rani's immaturity was evident as she thought "Digvijay mujhe zyada samajhta hai, ye sahi hi bol rha hoga", she is so confused that she has no stand of her own for this pregnancy, it's like jo sab bolenge wahi kr lungi, toh single parent wala point to scenario me hi nahi hai. Raising a kid at 18 is a huge task in itself, managing it with a full time college-that too in medicine, and managing the household chores and your husband's mood swings- it can happen only in dramas.

How will she even crack the entrance is a big question mark for me ..

People prepare for 2 years non stop .. and this wonder girl was dancing away , eloped got married , and then got the news she is pregnant on the same day .
if they had shown her fainting after she gave her exam . Tab koi sense hota

I want her not to keep the child because she got married suddenly and she needs to have an understanding with her husband. And she has a dream too.

But I know she manages both baby and her studies as shown in OG. Also it's ITV. She's supposed to be some devi. Why can't we have normal female leads? 🤦🏻‍♀️

This!!!!! It is so frustrating to watch mahaan FL's, like for god's sake stop glorifying the stupid mahaanta! Here atleast rani has a mouth, and she retaliates, but that too is changed after marriage, now she just cries 🙂. But most ITV FL's are like Madhuri here-gunge ho kr sabki baatein sunte jao aur fir bhi machine jaise kaam krte jao kyuki "apno" ka kaam krna acha lagta hai, no matter how your "apne" treat you, you just respect them even if they insult you with every statement of theirs. And the 'bahu' bar is set so High, the way a girl speaks, dresses- literally everything about her has to be "desi" and she also has to manage everything, that too in a top class way! A polite, desi, Ms. Perfectionist- the BASIC demands in a ITV bahu, and the one who likes to dress western, or dress up in a modernized way, likes self care, and is opinionated is tagged as villain- the categorisation is so bad! I get it some characters are like really bad in a murderous kind of way, but my point is why discriminate on the basis of clothing? Why can't a FL dress in a western attire and a villain in traditional? Who decides that a "good girl" dresses only in traditional attires? And if someone wears a short skirt she is automatically a villain?

Today for the first time I found DJ mature and his conversation with Rani was actually logical. He also knows his mother really well and he told Rani to keep the abortion topic secret but still Rani revealed that to Narayani it seems.

When they showed the FL and ML having one night stand why cant they just normalise that FL's can he practical and abort child too. Being a doctor is not a joke. They way they are making a mockery of the whole journey of a doctor by showing Rani balancing all it seems very unrealistic.

Rani and DJ need to accept their feelings and grow in life together before they take responsibility of raising a kid together. I wish they showed the abortion without making Rani or DJ look like a villain.

the male lead in OG is not toxic .. I haven’t seen the entire thing as the FL is same . It will spoil my viewing experience.. He seems like a normal young guy.. who is entirely caught unaware with the pregnancy..

Over there it is fudgy when exactly they get pregnant.. because they have a normal marital relationship.. both of them were happy that they got married to each other

Over here more drama has been added by making him have anger issues.. He has not behaved well with Rani after marriage at all ..

He has not even acknowledged that he gave leading signals to her .. yesterday he said he is older and more experienced than her .. then why is Rani equally responsible for the pregnancy..

He started the intimacy .. he could have stopped it .. it’s not like he was so out of sync .. his brother said the same thing . Just because he was drunk . The blame cannot be put on Rani

Pinky ,Narayani and Baa behave as if Rani has trapped DJ .. they don’t acknowledge that Rani comes from a wealthier family than them

pinky was accusing Rani of stealing gold earrings .. whereas Rani at that time was engaged to a jeweller..It was good that Rani gave her a talk that what is she getting out of this marriage .. Zilch ..

It would be good if she tells Debu also .. thanks to your constant emotional blackmail I got trapped in this situation..

Exactly! They did it, so let them handle the consequences. They’re adults - they don’t need to take permission from elders for every choice and decision. Baa and Narayani really need to understand that. As for Narayani, her blind motherly love keeps her from seeing her precious bakura’s mistakes - according to her, only Rani is at fault. And Pinky? Well, Roshan put it perfectly: "Jab soch hi chhoti hai, toh padhe-likhe hone ka kya fayda?"

I also hated how Digvijay standing silently while Pinky accused Rani of taking advantage of his drunken state and its all her planningEven Debu spoke up for Ranibut this guy? Not a single word from him!

people with years of practice don’t crack it ., Rani has not been studying for the last 1 month .. plus what happened that day . If she could write even 10-15 questions.. her entry is doubtful..

If she does not tell Narayani .. Narayani will blame her for aborting the child and give her Digu the free pass ..

if she keeps the baby Narayani will protect her .. and Digvijay will blame her

I know she will continue with the pregnancy—that’s the plotline, and the groundwork for it needs to be laid somehow. But instead of Rani casually telling Narayani about it, despite Digvijay explicitly instructing her not to, especially when there was no situation that forced her to reveal their plans, the creatives could have used other characters like Pinky or Debu to let Narayani find out about the abortion.

I don’t mind her confidence in her exam results. Some people are naturally sure of themselves -not only do they score well, but they also secure top ranks. She knew she had to take the exam and started preparing well in advance, so not studying intensively in the last few weeks and only revising in the final two days wouldn’t make much of a difference.

But if she gets selected - which will happen despite everything that happened that day - all I can say is that when someone is truly passionate about something, their focus becomes so intense that they tune out everything else, even significant events. Maybe that’s what happened with Rani while writing the exam, momentarily brushing aside thoughts of her pregnancy.

No matter what - whether Rani confesses herself, tries to hide it, or Narayani learns about it from someone else, she will still blame Rani alone. Digvijay, on the other hand, will get a free pass.

@bold : I found her dialogue funny 😂, but I agree, Rani’s health isn’t serious enough for Narayani to shift into their bedroom. In her excitement, she isn't understanding that she’s not just interfering in #Digvani’s life but also meddling in #Ishani’s life.

I totally agree! Pinky’s statement was ridiculous, but she said it for her own benefit - to maintain her importance and dominance among all the bahus, as the only one who has given an heir to the Gandhi family. She knows very well that Madhuri can’t conceive and won’t speak up, while Devyani is too innocent and not cunning enough to play such games. The only one who has outsmarted Pinky and capable of giving her a tough fight is Rani. If Rani continues with her pregnancy, she’ll become the 'aankhon ka taara' of the house, just like Digvijay - something Pinky would never let happen.

Honestly, even I can't understand Anisha's actions. She left Digvijay because of his anger issues and was all set to marry someone else - so why does she suddenly want him back after all these years? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe it’s revenge for ruining her marriage, or maybe she’s just a desperate woman who wants everything in life. She already has name, fame, money, bungalows, and all luxuries with Mr. Bajaj. But perhaps he can’t fulfill the other desires she once experienced with Digvijay, and that’s why she wants him back.
