It is not the same thing and you know it. What privilege did Vicky have when he started his Bollywood journey in 2009 and it was only 2015 he got his first big break with Masaan? That is 6 years of hard work, evben then his first mid budget movie was Uri taht took another 3 years. Meanwhile Ranbir debuted with a SLB movie. Has given flops in a row and he still was given huge movies by big directors. It is not the same galaxy.

You’re so fixated on making them equal. I never said they were, unless reading comprehension isn’t your thing. Vicky got a main lead, it flopped, and he still kept getting lead roles. That’s a privilege many in India would kill for. Ranbir is obviously more privileged (no one’s denying that for the 10th time), but Vicky has his own privileges too. If you’re so keen on comparing him to Ranbir, why not compare him to the hundreds with way less? Avinash Tiwari is still struggling despite delivering a debut performance Vicky hasn’t even come close to.

If his dad was so known and influential toh Raveena kabhi sub kay saamnay aik chhotay se bachchay (a 10 years' RS) par buri tarah chillaa kay ussay set se baahar nahi nikalwaati and to make him break into tears.

There is a difference between Ranbir and Ranveer and then between Ranveer and Vicky in terms of privilege. But there is no hesitation from my side to answer the topic question with "no". Anybody who means that it is "yes" paints a false picture of the Indian filmindustry residing in Mumbai. A Singh or a Kaushal don't belong to the 'Kapoor royalty', they have to build their career through their talent and hard work, not through their last name...

To make it clear, I'm not biased against one of the actors/actresses/filmpeople belonging to the widespread Kapoor-Clan (includig the other branches stemming from Pritviraj Kapoor's grandfather Dewan Keshavmal Kapoor), but when it comes to privilege, then the oldest Hindi film family certainly has the most in the Hindi filmindustry.

Ranbir went as far to say, auditions scare him. The privilege!!! Used to boast all the best scripts comes to him first, even while flopping.

Ranveer and Vicky earned their places cant say the same about Alia and Ranbir.

He said he can experiment and make any number of bad movies because he doesn’t have the dearth of scripts coming to him. Other than Alia not even the Khans can boast about such a thing?
