Also I have no complaints regarding his character...just the acting was inconsistent in some scenes..unfortunately this kind of story based on ensemble cast didn't work for him because people want to see him only...next time he should do a drama which completely focus on him...and is ML-centric. For a wahaj ali mega signature project post tb with this starcast and budget should be making ehram e junoon kaffara or rej numbers on yt at least. Especially with low trps, yt views shud be higher to compensate. Forget jn, kmkt or im, falling behind jafa, khaie, kaffara, iqtidar, rah e junoon, dunyapur and msm is not a good look. At this rate, smd wont even make it to top 10 in terms of yt views among 2024 shows.

Yes, I don't know how someone with logical mind can't get this. its possible only if someone doesn't want to accept his fame. And about budget, come on geo is fooling labeling the signature and all as they have anyway got hefty amount from advertisement agencies labeling such . They have made drama slow pace to increase episodes and make money by making more episodes, even if less views per episodes, they're making money. and still its not that less. considering the drama track. Even if drama track was good this kind of story will fetch only around these views and not like JeN or TB.

I'm not saying to do social dramas. Lets stop pretending all commercial dramas are smd or jn. Radd aiej kmkt brkrrj faraar khaie jej were not social dramas. Heck namak haram and zulm were average mainstream dramas not bad bad. Even khumar was only boilerplate bad. There are good commercial dramas. Agar woh nahi toh average ya average bad commercial dramas bhi bohat hain. Even geos upcoming slate of mega projects look different, only the danish one seems typical.

So what should he do? He should just wait for the "right script " which would be good commercially as well as critically? When will that right script come? When he will cross 40? A star has to think lot of things before signing a show.

"Out of sight is out of mind" ...and lot of stars have lost their stardom because of "waiting for right ther a lister is sitting at home and all are able to do projects

What views are you even flexing. Smd getting 8m views in a week and not even crossing 10m after 2 weeks is an embarrassment. If he did a faraar or tmnon and that got 5 6m, it would still have been an achievement giv3n the genre or the channel plus the critical appreciation.

Which a lister is doing 3rd lead in absolutely shit mega signature high budget commercial dramas that is also getting flop trps and struggling with views. Jn was bad drama that was roasted but got 2.5billion views at least. Radd and aiej get good trps and Sherry is praised by everyone and radd was really good quality wise. Hamza ali abbasi did a jej which got good trps. Feroze is doing humraaz and sanwal yaar pya which is a multistarrer but ferize will definitely noy be the 3rd lead. Even in khumar his ss was balanced.

Half of these dramas also aren't that popular and also has less views too, so what do you want, him to get fame or just critical acclaim, first decide on that. Reality is critical acclaim will not get you fame. Wahaj was critically acclaimed earlier but wasn't famous. So I guess his track was to do some commercial dramas now. And in commercial dramas the problem is, sometimes these also can work and not but there are lot of chances to get fame whereas in content kind of dramas critical acclaim is anyway mostly ones get and can relax.

I dont agree with others but KMKT and Khaie were entertaining dramas. KMKT didn't have any story IMO,it just worked because of accidental marriage trope and relatable lead characters. Khaie was a thriller but geo's greed made a 16 episode drama stretch to 29 episodes

What I am saying is what will work and what wont work is not in Wahaj's hands...as an A-lister he has to think a lot of things..about his character,production value,team etc etc.

Also msm started with trp in 4s and 5s less than smd and now climbed to 9s, 2 pts more than smd. If show is liked it breaks out no matter the channel. Ppl said green is small channel and 3 4m views is the ceiling. Now look at iqtidar and dunyapur

Yeh sab bakwas baatein. A show that's liked by masses will break out.

The desire for him to do quality work I totally understand. Also acknowledging that this project underperformed as per earlier expectations is also fair but then downplaying the views and then comparing it to shows with lower views, I don’t understand
