This is how I feel. JBG was not mainstream in anyway but was critically acclaimed. I feel like views like that are normal for a project like that. This is exactly why I don’t want him to do a more Indy feeling or social cause drama, those naturally garner less views. I’m sure he’ll get more now but still less than a mainstream project but he’ll still be looked at as failure even if he ends up performing well. The fewer views will make headlines, not his performance in my opinion.
Where are we supposed to see chemistry if it isn’t designed in the story? They looked good in the imagined scene and those posts have received a lot of likes. Even Wahaj and Maya’s collab posts have done well likes wise. But there’s nothing in the show so far. That’s fine though because clearly it hasn’t even been written in the plot yet. To me failing at chemistry means scenes that require it but you fail. And to be a beloved pair, chemistry is needed and for that you need scenes together. Chemistry can be between any characters and not just couples too. I don’t know if anyone ever watched Supernatural but Dean and Sami for example had great chemistry playing brothers.
But I agree, enough of them for a bit after this is done. I’m not a fan of repeating couples too soon.
