But I dont want to see them together anymore...its done and dusted and they should move on...!!

Maya had the best chemistry with Shehryar IMO and mahaj doesn't even come close..I agree with that.

This is how I feel. JBG was not mainstream in anyway but was critically acclaimed. I feel like views like that are normal for a project like that. This is exactly why I don’t want him to do a more Indy feeling or social cause drama, those naturally garner less views. I’m sure he’ll get more now but still less than a mainstream project but he’ll still be looked at as failure even if he ends up performing well. The fewer views will make headlines, not his performance in my opinion.

Where are we supposed to see chemistry if it isn’t designed in the story? They looked good in the imagined scene and those posts have received a lot of likes. Even Wahaj and Maya’s collab posts have done well likes wise. But there’s nothing in the show so far. That’s fine though because clearly it hasn’t even been written in the plot yet. To me failing at chemistry means scenes that require it but you fail. And to be a beloved pair, chemistry is needed and for that you need scenes together. Chemistry can be between any characters and not just couples too. I don’t know if anyone ever watched Supernatural but Dean and Sami for example had great chemistry playing brothers.

But I agree, enough of them for a bit after this is done. I’m not a fan of repeating couples too soon.

No I think 35 eps on tv not written. KRQ dramas aren’t long he writes less than 30 eps. Generally he writes between 25-28 episodes for dramas. Nadeem Baig completes it in 1-2 eps less when shot. Haissam ended up doing 2 eps extra when shot. Have a feeling Humraaz is the next big project that’s replacing SMD and Ayeza is giving hints it’s coming soon early next year and I think they finished filming it too.

In my opinion, they've laid SMD on the bier... they're waiting to pray the funeral prayer... and then they will bury it.

Exactly...that's what my whole point is...how can we see chemistry if the format is like that...they had hardly 4-5 scenes in 21 epis and they were not at all romantic ...yet interesting and great IMO...right from the 8 crore scene to the last scene before wedding...each and every scene was done beautifully..at least the feelings from Bilal Abdullah's side was clearly felt and visible and that was the whole point of those scenes ...from Sadaf there is nothing,so chemistry as such can't be felt now.

And those people who are saying its a failed chemistry ,they should at least wait for the romantic scenes to come up..if they fail there, than I would say there is no chemistry.

Right now the only problem is Sadaf's character arc..and as a viewer its really frustrating to see Sadaf stuck in the same thing since weeks after weeks...they'll just give her sudden realization at the end...and they'll show romancesmiley18

I don't think so at all... The main reason Bilal is in love with Sadaf is Sadaf's father. Sadaf's character is a two-faced person who uses people and can do anything in a difficult situation. My personal opinion is that I wouldn't even be friends with people like that, let alone fall in love with them. I wouldn't even say hello. She has a disgusting personality. So, if she falls directly into Bilal's lap, it will look disgusting for some, even if there is chemistry between them. The audience needs to see Sadaf's regret, pain, and apologies. To be honest, if these things don't happen, I won't watch any of Maya or Wahaj's series. So, think of it this way, as a Turk who has watched all of their series, they will both fall from grace.

I recommend you to watch fitoor. Wahaj has done an amazing job in the show and he looks so bloody handsome. He is there in the first 10 episodes and re enters from epi 26. You should definitely give it a try.

The issue isn't Bilal's character, it's Sadaf's. The situation can be likened to a flower blooming on a pile of dung; in this analogy, Bilal is the flower. The series you mentioned is an adaptation of 'Aşk-ı Memnu,' a popular Turkish drama.
