A dusky girl was walking on the corridor.
Some students smirked at her and said to each other:Look at her complexion.When she becomes a doctor,she will be called as the Kaali doctor.
The dusky skinned girl became dull.She was Deepika.
Suddenly the college faculty Dr.Chirag arrived there.
Chirag:You all are medical students.But you are mocking a girl's complexion?How can a doctor differentiate between dark skinned people and fair skinned people?You all will refuse to give treatment to dark people?You know what?Only good hearted people deserved to be doctors.You all have dark heart.You guys do not deserve to be doctors.Deepika is dusky.So what?She is beautiful and has a fair heart.She is one of the top students too.
Deepika blushed hearing Chirag addressing her as beautiful.
She thought:For the first time somebody called me beautiful.
Those students got embarrassed and apologized:Sorry Deepika.
They walked away.
Deepika looked at Chirag:Thank you for supporting me Dr.Chirag.
Chirag smiled.
Chirag:No need of thanking me Deepika.We are family friends also.It's your father who sponsored my education.Otherwise an orphan like me would not have become a doctor.
She smiled.
Chirag:Would you like to join me for a coffee?
Deepika was excited and happy.
Deepika:Sure.
Chirag and Deepika went to the canteen to have coffee.
They were sipping coffee.
Deepika:Dr.Chirag,why did you call me to join you for drinking coffee?
Chirag:Because I am bored and only you can give me a good company.I like listening to your talk.
Deepika blushed.
Chirag:What's your next plan?
Deepika:Nothing special. I am planning to go shopping.I want to buy modern dresses.All are teasing me for always wearing salwar kameez.
Chirag:Just because others teased you,you want to buy modern dresses?Don't mind them Deepika.You don't need to convince others.You wear only what you like.You are looking very beautiful in salwar kameez.
Deepika smiled with disbelief.
Deepika:Really?Do I really look nice in salwar Kameez?
Chirag:Of course yes.You look really pretty.
She blushed.
Chirag:Exams are coming up.Study well.
Deepika:I have lots of doubts in theory. I need your help Doctor.
Chirag:Sure.I will help you.
Deepika:Thank you doctor.
Chirag was explaining the tough portions from the theory to Deepika.She was listening to him with a smile.
Deepika's elder sister Paakhi was applying make up.
Deepika:Di,you look so pretty.
Paakhi smiled.
Paakhi:Everyone says so.
Deepika:Nobody says that I am pretty.But still I am happy.Because there is someone who finds me beautiful.
Paakhi:What?Who calls you beautiful?
Deepika blushed.
Deepika:There is someone in my college.
Paakhi:Don't fall in love.You focus on your studies and become a doctor.I did not become a doctor like our parents wished.Because my interest was fashion designing.Atleast you become a doctor.
Deepika smiled:I am studying well Di.Dr.Chirag is helping me a lot.
Paakhi smiled.
Dr.Chirag came to their house for the medical check up of Deepika and Paakhi's grand mother Vandana.
Chirag:You are fit dadi.But you need to control eating sweets.
Paakhi:Dadi can't control eating sweets.
Vandana giggled.
Vandana:I will stop eating sweets.But you are young and healthy.You can eat sweets.Right?
Chirag smiled.
Vandana:Paakhi...bring some sweets which I made.
Paakhi brought a plate of sweets for Chirag.
Chirag:Thank you.You take one sweet Paakhi.
Paakhi:No thanks.I am on diet control.
Deepika who came out of the room was surprised to see Chirag there.
Deepika:Dr.Chirag!
Chirag:Hi Deepika!
Chirag:You also like sweets like me and dadi.So give me a company to eat sweets.
She smiled.
She walked towards him.He gave her a sweet.She blushed while taking the sweet from him.
Deepika:Thank you.
They both smiled at each other while having sweets.
Chirag:Well...dadi...your sweets are magical.Really yummy.
Vandana smiled:Tell me something which I don't know.
They all giggled.
