So they can sort out their issues ..Abhira had a happy childhood so,she’s actually not part of that equation because she didn’t even know they existed. But Ruhi has issues with abhira stemming from her Own selfishness and need to have everything of the best for herself. That’s why she goes on about haq haq all the time.

Counsellor ko khud counselling ki zarurat padegi...ye phemili ko thik karne ke liye

Dimaag ka jo eet khiska hai na, usko thik karne ke liye..Abhira ka iss equation se kalti marna padega, kuch waqt ke liye...

They themselves were full of resentment and hatred. Remember how Swarna hated and resented Naira for years and even made everyone cut off ties with her?

More than unconditional love Ruhi needed good parenting which she didn't get after her mother Arohi's death. Goenkas loved her unconditionally but they intensified the hatred & emotional baggage by banishing Akshara instead of making Ruhi understand with time that it was just an accident. Expecting child Ruhi to let go of the trauma is wrong expectation but the one who lost is more sensitive & compassionate despite the outward bitterness. Goenkas bent to her demands against their logical reasoning instead of making her understand firmly that the extreme hatred for Akshara & her suicidal tendencies to get things done her way is wrong. Succumbing to your child's emotional blackmailing or suicidal attempt is extremely bad parenting. Goenkas justified her actions and considered them normal actions of a child who faced trauma which wasn't normal or should be discouraged. Parents can't always bend to the demands of their children. But they did. Poddars also loved her unconditionally as DIL, Ruhi had been their favorite bahu till the time she showed her hatred for their precious waaris. KP adored her & considered her perfect till she got to know about her and Ar's past.

If unconditional love means no betrayal, heartbreak, sharing love with others or broken expectations then that kind of unconditional love is rare because these characters (in real life people) are flawed. Most of the children have mommy issues/daddy issues or childhood trauma in real life because unconditional love or support is not even given by parents or they went through tragic events. Does that mean people without unconditional love absorb bitterness hatred to extent of manipulating people to their advantage, competing with a woman to get married to a man who rejected you several times leaving your husband, considering pregnancy a competition, competing to give waaris, competing to be a priority in any case, hating and wishing harm on a child, In Ruhi's world only she is the victim while person she hates (Abhira) is the villain of her story just because Abhira got what was supposed to be her HAQ. Pratiksha's Ruhi had a soft & sensitive side which actually made it possible to feel bad for her plus she wasn't intentionally manipulative or pathological liar.

Well said! The Goenkas have really messed up with both Aarohi and Ruhi. Instead of helping them process things, they’ve bent over backward to keep Ruhi happy, all while avoiding the truth. They should’ve helped her understand that Aarohi’s death was just an accident, but instead, they’ve only enabled her behavior. Pratiksha's Ruhi, Shehzada's Armaan (even when these two couldn't act), and Shivam's Rohit were the best.

If there's a source of trouble, the trouble must be kept away if there's any chance of healing ..whether or not they heal depends on the problem & the person themselves . But distance , time and space helps in any situation..

Arohi tried to keep abhir away coz she didn't want akshu to come bk to birla house ..she didn't have to play any cards ..akshu herself didn't wanna come bk ever ..abhir was also sent bk by abhim after custody ..issue came when abhim decided to marry akshu , did arohi anyway object to it or try to ruin it ? May be if they continued the season she would but she did change for that duration ..

Yes ruhi had her great grandparents but they're nowhere equal to the parents..after arohi she was closest to abhimanyu & abhir and both were taken away by akshara so that added to her resentment ..they pampered her that doesn't mean they gave her a good upbringing..it only made her more unstable ..

yes she has rohit now but her underlying fear of everything thats dear to her will be taken away akshara and her clan , it still exists ..she wont warm up to abhir completely , bec abhira will be there to share him ..thats my guess , dunno what the writers plan ..however , I never blamed abhira for ruhis mistakes ..

For you ruhi is vile bec she acts against abhira..till the time abhir acts against abhira , he will he vile too , when he flips , he will be the best brother ...I don't judge characters that way , everyone is at the same level for me ..I'm not in support of ruhi or her actions , just trying to understand where she comes from ..yes it's her intrinsic nature , she feels insecure & jealous ..everyone does I'm various degrees..but we all know these issues will never be explored so jaane do

Completely agree. They tried to make Ruhi happy by fulfilling even her unreasonable wishes or by not exposing her kands but they still couldn't make her happy. Happiness is being liberated from emotional baggage. It's truly a choice.

For me Rohit's Armaan is the best one.

Yup agreed! Atleast Pratiksha's Ruhi had a little bit humanity inside of her.

Your take highlights an important dynamic—expecting familial love from someone who doesn’t feel the same way can lead to unnecessary pain. Abhira’s care for Ruhi, despite Ruhi’s resentment, stems from her loyalty to family but only adds to her troubles when they’re forced to share space without boundaries or resolution.

The comparison to Aarohi and Akshara is apt. Aarohi only healed when Akshara left, giving her time to mature. Similarly, Ruhi might change if she experiences genuine love and nurturing. Daksh could play a pivotal role, offering Ruhi the stability to heal and grow, much like Aarohi found peace through Ruhi's love.

From personal experience as a single child, I understand how meaningful bonds with cousins can be. While Ruhi may not crave this connection with Abhira due to her bond with Abhir, Abhira likely desires it, having never experienced that sibling relationship.

What’s surprising is that even after 22 years with the Goenkas, Ruhi still feels unloved, reflecting their emotional incompetence. This neglect fuels her bitterness and hinders her bond with Abhira.

Sibling rivalry and competition, exaggerated in these narratives to create drama, won’t resolve with Aarohi’s death truth alone. It requires time, effort, and willingness from both sides to break the cycle of conflict.

Great grandparents can't compensate for the parents plus , losing parents at such a young age in itself can be traumatic ..they were not natural deaths...these deep seated fears and insecurities are rooted in such experiences isn't it ? Plus goenkas are useless ..

A 6 yr old doesn't understand who is responsible for taking away her father figure , why and who went after whom , she just heard akshu taking the blame for her mother's death, abhim and abhir leaving after her so she Hates akshu ..

Her bitterness towards abhira is obvious..they have a long history and pages can be written about it ..akshu angle came in much later ..for ruhi it's all getting piled up ..arohi..Arman..her grand parents ...her baby ... Her position in poddar house..now abhir..

Abhira however is a flat line..she just wants to be good to everyone amd everyone to be good to her..there's nothing more to her character..when she was introduced , uptil the confession she was a diff person but now she's just this..there's no familial craving or sibling craving ..even if she was brought up in joint family with siblings and family, she would be the same. The "quentisential good bahu beti behen"

.

Frankly i don't wanna see any bonding between them , it'll be very unnatural ..anyways in yrkkh , the fls stir up a lot of trouble for everyone with their good intentions ..this is just the tip..

My biggest problem in the sibling equation is that Abhira knows nothing about anything. The complexities of relationships she wants to resolve, is immature, because you didn't know what caused it and you are a potential trigger.

Leave both Rooh-i and Abhi-r alone. Abhi-r, I can still give him benefit of doubt, because he was all alone, but I don't see the reason to give Rooh-i benefit of doubt, because there is no introspection which shows that Rooh-i and Abhi-r haven't outgrown their childhood.

Abhira also needs to come down from her high horse and behave like a sensible person. Coaxing and invasive ways of dealing with situations, headstrong tomfoolery and then crying after that. Ek to uske pati ke saath bardaasht nahi hoti, bhai beheno ke saath kaise karu

And lastly, kahaan Naksh and Gayatri, aur ye moong aur masoor jaise Rooh-i and Abhi-r

When it comes to Abhira, her naivety about the depth of the problems makes her attempts to fix things seem almost futile. She’s trying to mend things without truly understanding the root causes of the issues, and this is what makes her seem immature and sometimes careless. It's easy to see that she’s not fully aware of the emotional complexities around her—she’s trying to navigate a tangled web without understanding how each thread is connected. Her intentions are good, but her approach often feels like it's more about her need to be the hero than about actually understanding and addressing the deeper emotional wounds of the people involved.

As much as her headstrong nature can be admirable, she does carry a lot of her mother’s traits, particularly that idealistic sense of being able to fix everything. Her inability to step back and see the bigger picture, combined with her tendency to act without fully thinking things through, can create a lot of chaos. She’s not just dealing with surface-level conflicts, but with deep-rooted trauma and history that can’t be undone by simply forcing solutions.

Ruhi, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to have evolved much from her childhood, which is why it’s hard to give her the benefit of the doubt. There’s no self-reflection or attempt to grow from her past mistakes, making her hard to empathize with. She’s stuck in her own world, unable or unwilling to break out of the cycle of bitterness and resentment.
