Completely agree. They tried to make Ruhi happy by fulfilling even her unreasonable wishes or by not exposing her kands but they still couldn't make her happy. Happiness is being liberated from emotional baggage. It's truly a choice.
For me Rohit's Armaan is the best one.
Rohit's performance as Armaan is definitely strong, but when it comes to the script and character development, Shehzada’s Armaan really stood out. There was a vulnerability in his portrayal that you could see in his eyes. Rohit's Armaan tried to bring some of that vulnerability when Romit’s Rohit returned, but it didn’t have the same impact.
Shehzada's Armaan was loaded with raw emotion—his troubled past with his bio mom, the complicated relationship with his dad, and his constant drive to prove himself to his family. You could see his willingness to sacrifice everything for them, even his own happiness, in every scene. His fear of disappointing Dadisa and Vidya was palpable. The earlier version of Armaan had so many layers, whereas Rohit's Armaan feels a bit lacking in emotional depth, vulnerability, and that caring nature that really drew fans to him.
In terms of characterisation, Shehzada’s Armaan was definitely more fleshed out. But when it comes to performance, Rohit truly shines, no question.
I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that even the actor playing Rohit has changed. Shivam’s Rohit and Shehzada’s Armaan had this amazing chemistry and bromance that’s kinda missing with Romit's Rohit and Rohit’s Armaan. There was a unique connection between the two before that really stood out.
