A woman first ignores her health and goes through every bit of pain to give birth to a child, even being ready for her impending death so that her mother in law accepts her husband.

Then within weeks of a difficult pregnancy when a woman's body heals, she stands up and is shown going to work because apparently a woman can do both

A woman can do both but we women have fought for maternity leaves, we are still fighting for voluntary leaves during monthly courses because women's health is the most ignored topic, giving birth takes a toll on a woman's body, it is okay to not want to work but how can they show it here?

They could have shown greedy dadi taking the baby with her and asking Abhira to work on the case but Abhira saying that she wants to rest for a while but if she rests, wouldn't she be less than ideal?

I hate how makers use female leads to undermine women's causes

If you are here, watch this

How this educated woman from village puts forward her conditions in front of the man she loves that his family shouldn't force her to have a child, she'll have a child when she wants and if her body doesn't allow, she'll adopt one

I wonder when we'll show something like this for our audience

It's necessary for a woman to have maternity leave after delivery. So many women has to fought for it .

But if a woman herself saying I don't want maternity leave,I want to work ,uss main galat kya hain?Unki khud ki health hain, thodi na kisi aur ki health hain .

Kuch bhi post banarahi hu tum log?I have seen some women in real life too who so passionate about their careers who have supportive family went to join job so soon after delivery.

Maternity leave is very very necessary but if I a woman said she want to join back her job as soon as possible is her own choice.its her own life.who can question that?

It's not undermining women in the society.

I will tell you what is actually undermining.

a woman like Ruhi who go low to lowest to get what she want, hates a baby just because it is her enemy's Baby,a pregnant woman worrying about she will have baby girl or boy is actually undermining woman

An elder woman like Vidya insults a woman publically just because she is unable to become a mother is undermining a woman .

A senior most person like kaveri Poddar who used to insult a girl because of her unknown khoon khandan is undermining woman

Insecure about sharing food items like kheer, sandwich and showing woman so petty is undermining woman

You are using what negative leads have done to elevate female lead because she can't be elevated on her own

See a show's story is centred over it's leads.Makers built other characters in a way which them connect to the leads .Here the story is about female lead and her relations with other characters. So each character share a particular dynamic or chemistry with leads .It's makers who decide which character does what in a certain time.So there is no point of elevating or glorifying.Negative characters are also give messages to society but in a different way .

Nopes ! Ghor paap ! To say a word against abhira.

Uski marzi . Jo woh Kare uski marzi *edited by Moderator*

Right from the time arman rejected ruhi on the altar , she's been doing just this..going back on whatever she's preached on women empowerment & she does it quite boldly .. She herself is a living example of those with zero self respect, zero aspirations , constantly looking for in laws validation , unki hazaar baatein taane sunne ke baad bhi she loves them dearly ..wait for her to say "Maine kaha tha main Marr hi jaoogi baby nahi mila toh , main apni galti maanti hoon "

If she wants career and baby both , she will do it ..it's been days she's got her daily dose of beizzati tonic. She's a modern woman who has to juggle between career and in laws..doesn't matter if she owns the firm (her in laws own it ofc) , she can work as per convenience , she can come and go as per convenience, she can work from home , she can hire a nanny (again ghor paap) ....she can delegate work to the office workers or her husband / fufa / rohit / manishas husband .....aise bhi , we know with what speed do the cases move in courts...she doesn't need a maternity leave in her own firm.....apparently she's hulk ki behen , bas she cannot take the news of her baby's demise in a risky pregnancy ..

But this time I'll pass , I want to see her fighting for a mother's right and make a complete joke out of herself/ her "family " I.e her husband , unintentionally smiley37

You had to bring what negative characters did in a post about Abhira, was any action which you have listed glorified?

Did you while watching Ruhi going after Armaan feel that "Wow, what a woman breaking the shackles of societal expectations of marriage and following her heart, choosing what she wants to do"?

There are countless post on negativity of Ruhi, let's discuss how right is it that a woman who had a difficult pregnancy is "fighting" to start working within weeks of giving birth to a supposedly pre-mature child?

The 6 months long maternity leave is not only for the child, it is for recovery of mother.
