Sadaf is confusing because her feelings are the one that's supposed to grow and change. The bad writing and execution makes it confusing. BA's feelings are a constant, they never change or grow, so there is no confusion, despite the bad writing and execution.
Arc doesn't mean flipping an on/off switch. BA finds out Sadaf is Naamdar's daughter, and voila, all his past traumas and distrust of women automatically go away. He decides to quit drinking, and voila, he is sober. Easy peezy. That's not an arc. Arc means showing the journey and change process. The growth journey.
In particular, there is no love arc for BA. BA's feelings for Sadaf have been a constant since the beginning. He was in love with Sadaf too soon especially given his history of distrusting women. He never felt any conflict or doubts about his feelings for her given his past trauma and distrust of women. He never fought against his feelings for her because he thinks women are distrustful. He never struggled to understand his feelings for her given he doesn't believe in love or hasn't been in love before.
I agree with this..Bilal's arc is good..but given his past perception about women ,him falling for Sadaf is not making sense....but I have a gut feeling all these things will be a bit more clear in coming episodes because here,Humsha is forming a perception about Bilal that he doesn't like women, trust women..all what he is doing is for Sadaf is because he finds her a challenge...and wants to "patao" her...how her perception changes and what's the reality about Bilal's feelings will be a bit more clear I hope so..not sure though
