Arc doesn't mean flipping an on/off switch. BA finds out Sadaf is Naamdar's daughter, and voila, all his past traumas and distrust of women automatically go away. He decides to quit drinking, and voila, he is sober. Easy peezy. That's not an arc. Arc means showing the journey and change process. The growth journey.

In particular, there is no love arc for BA. BA's feelings for Sadaf have been a constant since the beginning. He was in love with Sadaf too soon especially given his history of distrusting women. He never felt any conflict or doubts about his feelings for her given his past trauma and distrust of women. He never fought against his feelings for her because he thinks women are distrustful. He never struggled to understand his feelings for her given he doesn't believe in love or hasn't been in love before.

I agree with this..Bilal's arc is good..but given his past perception about women ,him falling for Sadaf is not making sense....but I have a gut feeling all these things will be a bit more clear in coming episodes because here,Humsha is forming a perception about Bilal that he doesn't like women, trust women..all what he is doing is for Sadaf is because he finds her a challenge...and wants to "patao" her...how her perception changes and what's the reality about Bilal's feelings will be a bit more clear I hope so..not sure thoughsmiley36

Humsha’s own perception is unclear . She acted normally when Bilal said he wants to marry and doesnt have the guts to reveal her feelings for him . On the other hand, she doesn’t want Sadaf in his life either.

IDK understand her perception but one thing is for sure..Bilal's character is still under wraps and has not completely unraveled

I think they have already established from the very beginning that BA is deeply and unconditionally in love with Sadaf. And that underlying fact will not change till last episode. What will become clear in future episodes is OTHER PEOPLE's perceptions about Bilal. Bilal feelings for S are constant throughout. There'll be no change in them. No up. No down. Only others change their perception about his feelings for Sadaf or shapes narratives about it for their own purpose.

Why is Humsha crying and Bilal angry in the next episode ? Does he get to know about her manipulations?

He loves sadaf that is already clear but despite of hating women, why he is considering marrying sadaf and lot more things about Bilal are still not revealed yet IMO

That was my complaint that they didn't show us the growth and evolution in BA's feelings. How did a man who distrusted women so much and did not believe in marriage fell so deeply and unconditionally in love with a woman he barely knows (except that she's Naamdar's daughter) --- so much so that he overcame all his traumas and vices, and reformed his opinions on women and marriage?

Men with that kind of trauma and baggage do not do love at first sight like this. They're used to attraction and infatuation but it's the next step they don't think they are capable of. Or that any woman is worth it. Even if they've the feels, their traumas make it difficult for them to acknowledge and accept their true feelings. To accept they can love means that their traumas are healed. I really wanted to see Bilal's this internal conflict and thought SMD would give, but didn't.
