Alia is a brat

In my opinion if Alia wasn’t the daughter of a famous director like Mahesh Bhatt, she wouldn’t have gotten even 1/5 of the recognition she’s got so far. Bollywood has casted the most mediocre actors that it’s come to a point where Alia is considered a really good actress for doing the bare minimum.

The fact that she’s been served everything with a silver platter, doesn’t acknowledge her privilege. She gets away with acting like a whiny toddler despite being in her mid 20’s and becoming a mother is the reason why so many people have a dislike for her.

She has been known to snatch roles that were originally meant for another actor by begging the directors and making KJO do his thing. She clearly reeks of insecurities. Her PR team and KJO has shoved her down our throats so much that there is this weird market for star kids hence mediocre actors such as Jhanvi, Sara, Ananya are below average actors yet still manage to get movies.

The only people I sympathise with are actresses who are competing with her. It’s one thing coming from nepotism but it’s another thing when you won’t let other people breath because at the end of the day all the good scripts and directors will be sent to you because of one tantrum.

There I said it all. Again this is my opinion. Feel free to agree or disagree.

Please enlightened us with the names of the movies which she SNATCHED from other actresses.

In Highway, KJO asked Imtiaz to cast her after SOTY. Other actresses would’ve had to take many auditions for such a role.

In Kalank, she said that she would be upset if she wasn’t casted even though she wasn’t fit for the role.

In Udta Punjab, she told the director that she wanted to be part of the script. However there were rumours that Shahid secretly gave her the script without the director knowing, which is wrong as other actresses may have been more worthy of the script over her.

In short, whether directly or indirectly, she has definitely snatched many opportunities from other potential actresses who could’ve done better than her.

Look,we are gently,(very gently) bashing Alia. We are not biased.

Too late. I have been writing for years that Alia was a dud.

First off, I think you meant Dear Zindagi?

Secondly, with all due respect, Katrina could not have done that role as well Alia did. Are there actresses that were better suited for it/more deserving than Alia? Absolutely! But Katrina is not one of them and I'm saying this as a fan.

This is not called “snatching”. Snatching happens when the other actress is already casted. Its not wrong to ask for a director to cast her. Its how people gets job.

How you all know that she has “demanded” rather than “requested” to cast her ?!!

i have seen many actors do this in my state, they are never shamed for that.
