In south shows leads do not get separated like hindi shows where leads get separated many times.Leap is also very rare in south.So leads do not die.

I have not watched Pattaramattu and TMD.But I have heard about these shows.I read that in TMD the sister became really negative.Is she negative in malayalam also?Could u plz tell me the differences?

EBSS was the remake of Anandam.In Anandam,the sasur was not bad.

Yes,in EBSS Shrenu's husband was not famous and there was very less romance.In SI also Anita's husband is not famous.He is just a show piece like Janvi's husband.

By the way like hindi,even in malayalam YHM is remade for the 2nd time.I am watching the clips on youtube.It' has different scenes too unlike ghum which copies YHM completely.

Hindi version was same as Malayalam but they had only 50-70 episodes, so it was just the torture of Kalyani and beginning of the love story before it ended. Star Bharat rarely had TRP. Pandya store also didn’t get trp on it but it was successful on SP. SP needs to end yrkkh and msbd and bring on new shows. How many reiterations of sisters fighting for same man and Imlie can we watch?! Ghkkpm is a scene to scene copy of their own show 😂😂😂 it’s not even stolen from a different language. They literally just asked the actors to watch YHM and copy it.

EBSS was actually good - Bhabhi’s character had a very good reason for revenge. She should have succeeded. They had to make it a love story - it made sense because even I watch shows for romance. If they had shown a better actor as Shrenu’s husband, they could have avoided that weirdness. Here, Devika is just shallow and vapid.
I’m waiting for romance between Teerth and Suman. I need some nice scenes before it all erupts.

TMD was different to Gaatchora and Pattharamattu and the Tamil and Telugu versions. In all the other versions, the evil brother remains evil, the evil sister fluctuates between good and evil and the youngest one only loves the youngest girl. TMD showed the youngest sister marrying the evil brother and having a kid and leap etc etc. it was crap. In the Mallu version (and Tamil and Telugu), the youngest brother is in love with the youngest sister but marries an evil nutjob due to family pressure. The oldest brother (ML) marries the second sister (FL) who is talented and outspoken and everyone likes her except her MIL.

Yeah, Ishtam Mathram just began which is a copy of YHM. It’s the same but at least some scenes are different and the language is different. But just copying Ishita Raman exactly is such a lame idea. IshRaRu were a household name at that time - even at 10.30-11 pm they had great trp. They had so much chemistry. The actors were much better except Neenaji’s extreme accent. I don’t understand why any show on SP has TRP except AAA which seems different based on the promos. Why is the audience so watching YHM and Imlie again and again and again?!

Yes.There is a patient track in mal which was not there in hindi.Some other differences r also there.

Recently Baatein kuch also copied YHM.Did u notice it?

In all versions, evil guy marries evil oldest sister. In Hindi, they divorce/she dies (don’t know, haven’t watched) and he marries youngest sister. In Telugu version, youngest one divorces first wife and marries youngest sister. In Malayalam, youngest brother has just gotten married to wrong vamp like 1-2 weeks ago.

Never watched Baatein waale serial. Won’t watch RS shows after he butchered AbhiRa in yrkkh.

Imlie has such a stupid storyline too. There was Gusktakh Dil, Mohi, Imlie, maati se bandhi dor. Even Ghkkpm and Yrkkh 4 and Gud se meetha ishq’s beginning was similar with forced wedding in a village. Log nahi thake kya?!

Watched today’s episode - Suman and Teerth’s relationship is growing slowly. He is so awkward while she rarely stops and thinks. She is also openly defying Chandrakant. I think he will slowly start liking her because she will bring in good will and profit.

Eldest sister is money minded. Mother wanted to get her married to rich eldest brother but she runs away. Eldest brother (ML) gets married to middle sister (FL).
Eldest sister (evil) actually ran away with middle brother (evil) thinking he was richer but he dupes her. She cons him right back saying she is pregnant and gets married to him. She is not completely evil just loves money but also generally stands by her sisters. The guy is genuinely evil.
Youngest brother loves youngest sister (tomboy) - both positive. But family arranges marriage to new vamp who just wants their money. He tries to resist but gives up and gets married to her. New vamp is busy creating new problems and batwaara in the family. Youngest sister is unmarried and broken hearted but loves her middle sister and does what she is told.

Ghum 1 was also like Imlie. The only show worse is Parineeti which is so crap that everything else shines 😂

I know…I’m excited to see some romance in the middle of this drama. Continuous drama gets exhausting. They need to keep adding TeerMan scenes in the middle. The new promo shows Suman going back to work on her chaat bhandaar. I think somehow they will integrate Namkeen King’s namkeen with her eatery. I also think they need to tone down Devika and bring in more Suman. Show their antagonism but like also some restraint with the planning and plotting. Like they say in Hindi - Thehraav.

Haven’t watched any other than the Malayalam one. The Hindi one went to crap within a month. Just read the episode descriptions sometimes on Hotstar for other languages. Tried to watch a few episodes of the Telugu one but the make up is as atrocious and left it 😂

I don’t mind Devika scenes but the plotting needs to be reduced - meaning show that one plan is being played out for at least 2-3 episodes. Except for Kritika truth, all the plans are of one episode. Makes it very redundant because obviously Devika needs to be plotting till the end. Not stretching like Kundali Bhagya or something but moving forward slowly instead of rinsing and repeating continuously.

In telugu and kannada make up is heavy.

No idea about any other shows. Just Asianet shows and Hindi.

Ekta has given up on her TV shows - they just go about in circles. Kdb, kkb, BL, Parineeti - all of them have absolutely no story just round and round. Marriage - misunderstanding - kids - leap - marriage. Can’t believe she gave us couples like Sujal - Kashish, Premeer, Prerna-Anu, Taani- Anu, Karan - Nandini, Ishra, RaYa etc. YHM and BALH were so well written for the first 1-2 years.

Honestly speaking, releasing weekly TRP has ruined Hindi television. No show has good consistent storylines. Just fighting for the first spot. Sony and Zee have just given up completely.
