Because that is not the goal of the story to show the unraveling of Anishi equation in a mature way....that never happens in these kind of ITV shows....their goal is always drama drama drama.

And they got drama out of keeping Ani in pendulum confused mode by showing him reiterating for so long that he will marry Arshi, he loves Arshi blah blah even as he remained helplessly drawn to Jhanak....is plot se drama mil raha tha so they continued it for so long.

Waise bhi is show mein sirf evil Bose fam keeps repeating what they believe...doesn't make it the truth. They also keep abusing Jhanak constantly but audience ka khud ka dimaag hai to see Jhanak for what she is....so even if Bose fam keeps praising Arshi as great guni girl, audience ne uski harkatein apni aakhon se bhi dekhi hain no matter how much characters in the show have propped her up.

@bold: LOL unfortunately this is not the show for that....in this show, side characters and the rantings/ravings of evil Bose fam + Arshi/Srishti take precedence over everything else .....that is why Ani even managing to express his truths, his emotions even this much feels like a huge victory to those of us who have suffered through 300 episodes in real time

90% of the scenes have been just monologues for so long with the characters just busy in their own presumptions that it is a very big deal that Ani is even opening his mouth to say this much....that is why I'm not poking the bear much by expecting more right now....lol what we are being given even now is a huge gift from Leena Aunty who otherwise only likes to torture Ani relentlessly by keeping him confused or MU-ing things

That said, I guess it's just been a few episodes....they just may show Ani having a more introspective monologue in the future about all these things....Leena Aunty loves to throw things in when you're least expecting them....lol patience is greatly needed to sit through her narrative style in real time

@bold: that's all I ask for honestly. Do how much drag & drama you want but beech me somewhere hamari tasalli ye ghusado... Our Ani and us deserve it....🤣

I have grown expectations based on the initial investment by Leena on character arc of Anirudh...the time and creativity she has spent on building Anirudh are rare for itv standard... that's why even after such huge degradation in content quality and its execution, I am still attached to the show..

Honestly that character building phase has already peaked in the first 200 episodes. Uske baad se we can't really say the caliber of writing is the same if we are being honest.

I'm doubtful if they can match that level of emotional heft from the first 200 episodes in whatever is coming up in the remaining story....now it's a case of dragging and stretching out the plot for increasing episode count...warna we've reached 350 episodes and can you recall anything that meaningful happening in these episodes that can match what was in the first 200?

My expectations now are just to see some better Runak scenes than forced MUs that were done post burning track...utna hi mil jaaye toh that's progress in my eyes

He definitely tried to do the right thing by Arshi by going along with marriage to her; esp after the accident; but his monologue during the wedding also made it clear that had J accepted their marriage he would have done everything in his power to retain his marriage to her.

My biggest grouse with Ani is and will always be - why did he marry Arshi when he knew he loved J. Regardless of whether J reciprocated his affections; he knew he was putting a performance for Arshi - he acknowledged it himself to J. Why tell Arshi he loved her; why insist she was his wife publicly; when he clearly had a monologue that he did not consider himself married to her. Why beg Arshi not to leave BH many times, when he clearly knew he was struggling to live with her. Ani right now is being let off the hook rather easily for his mistakes. I do believe something big is coming for him from Leena. So far they have never had Ani fully think through his mistakes - he always seems to skim through his mistakes at a superficial level; and have a level of justification tied to Arshi's behavior. He needs to take full accountability for his repeated mistakes (allowing J to be called a maid, insulted, flirting with Arshi to cause J grief) and I have no doubt Leena will ensure this will happen. Telling J - you latch on my words and not my feelings is a very weak excuse after all the vicious abuse he has piled on her.

I'm waiting for Runak - but not until Ani gets a full understanding of his mistakes; sheds his entitled attitude with J and grows a backbone with respect to Arshi and BH.

On one hand he says; he wants Jhanak and when he gets pushback then it is qualified with till he is OK. Thats going back to his old ways of short term thinking - which is very detrimental for Jhanak and her treatment by BH evils. Till Ani is clear in telling Arshi - he does not consider them married and asks her to leave - settles their public standing,.....he has no right to ask or expect anything of Jhanak.

Ani initially kafi acha hota tha but Arshi k sath pda karke sirf Jhanak ko dikhany k lye wo nazar se gir gaya hai. Arshi ke sath is point per to cheating hui hai bcz he said ILU Arshi multiple times and sometimes Jhanak ko hurt karne k lye bhi

I really want him to learn from his past mistakes and tell Arshi clearly that he loves Jhanak chahye Jhanak usky sath rahey na rahey.

Salman has reposted the new article about Ani and AK rescuing Jhanak from Tejas.....high chances AK may not survive this incident

Tejas is determined to kill someone this time toh Jhanak ko bachaate bachaate AK ke marne ke chances lag rahe hain since he is being shown as such a true aashiq and well-wisher of Jhanak now

This might also be why they fully cleared up the AK MU between Runak....lol taaki Runak usko achhe note pe vidaa karein

Moreover, the trait they gave Ani of pendulum baazi was a clever one in the context of this story. Else difficult to justify a bit creatively how the guy falls for the girl… I mean other stories have similar tropes but they don’t show the guy lying and making excuses knowingly 😂😂 and creatively justifying that it draws the audience as well into this.

The interesting point isn’t that he is conflicted.. the point of interest is how the narrative took it to a crescendo…. he reaches Kashmir, gets ready to marry her off to Rahul to get them back to Kolkata ( as he can’t bear to be parted with her) and the moment she blasts him for doing that… he doesn’t know which to focus on more… his elation that Rahul is not her lover or that she just blasted him off… Ofc we know what he settles for - DELIRIUM INDUCED “MUJHE KUCH ACCHA NAHIN LAG RAHA HAIN” 😂😂😂😂

For me, the way I look at it is… an inorganic start ( for me the forced shaadi is a stupid trope) within that, Jhanak has managed to show the growth pretty much organically… like for it is possible to believe that two souls stuck in a situation like this could end up together… drama ofc would be required to sustain that 😂😂

I am feeling bored to write the same old things...That too which we discussed a lot and now at this point of story it has no validity.. Its like some olden zamana happenings....

The huge bashing for Anirudh in this forum was he was not breaking with Arshi. We have done numerous post back and forth and let it go.

Now when Sweet heart is taking stand , Am I Clear, declaring even to Arshi we are not meant for each other, instead of being happy, we are discussing stone age things....

Now the discussion should be on why Jhanak is behaving strange. Till now she had fear he will go back to Arshi, and wont accept her infront of the society. He is accepting her now and still she is like kismat mein likha nahi.. Like seriously...

How does she know its written or not without trying for it. When Anirudh is taking efforts of their relation, why is she not standing with him. She looks so ok with leaving him.. She is telling every now and then so casually...

And her Arshi didi chant at this point is so annoying. When shw knew her didi left Anirudh to die on the roadside, and he himself stating I am not happy with her, nor is she happy , why is Jhanak still pushing him to Arshi.... With great dialogue of I will come back whenever u are in musibat!!!!

Just try once to make your relationship work... And her maa se promise is a selective memory... The home wrecker tag which she uses now is so invalid.. She herself sealed her as one with her haq ki ladai... So now why is she trying to run away from him... I dont get her at all....

May be she has fear about future , seeing her mom life. Agreed, but back in Kashmir she was a fighter. The strong one who always fought for her rights and her better future . Who was determined to take care of her maa and live independently. And now when she has Anirudh beside her why is she running away than being with him, fighting for them.

And the worst excuse being they are married mann se... Really didnt she hear Anirudh saying they are not happy, didnt she see Arshi and her attitude towards Anirudh..wasn't it she who said a day before to Arshi that she doesn't love Sirji, but is with him as she wants to win against her...
