I like Ratna Pathak onscreen and offscreen. She's got great comic skills and no-nonsense attitude. She does not spare even her own husband on his hypocrisy. And what she's said is absolutely true. Bollywood and a section of the public has it fixed in their mind that being modern or being a feminist has to do with smoking,drinking and sleeping around. It's just lazy writing and taking shortcuts. Just like having a Royal woman wave a sword a few times and ride a horse is supposed to mean that she's a strong character. Instead of writing a whole scene where she gets to show her boldness and strength.
