Isn't the right - through constitution - the same for everybody???

Kejriwal is in there coz of his beef with certain people, rather than for anything else (or so it seems, I don't know enough details; so I maybe wrong).

There are many other politicians/actors who deserve to be inside but are enjoying life.

Defamation* is non-cognizable in the first place , bailable too & above all , victim is barred from filing NCR/FIR . What I am pointing out is it is such a minor offence that it would be highly unusual even for a random person to get issued NBW against him right away ; it is only when he is repeatedly dodging or violating summons . Even there , warrant should firstly be bailable as repeatedly emphasized in precedents . And even if court issues NBW out of course for some reason , she can be granted bail .

This^ is the 'due process of law' in the case/issue at hand which is already favourable to her in the first place as far as jail is concerned to ensure attendance at trial . But it would be crude joke to say Kangana or any other pet of this regime would have been subjected to 'due process of law' if it were to be adverse in the first place . Legal system has already been corrupt or easily influenced at one or the other nodes . And this regime has taken things to a next level only .

(edit) *I am still to completely go through latest BNS & BNSS as far as offences like these are concerned though old law likely will govern current case

Maybe it had legally been okay for K to refute Javed's accusations (personally I find that all these 'childish' issues could be resolved more privately) ... to me, it wouldn't be okay if her now-position gives her a kind of 'you-can't-touch-me' attitude.
