I watched the first half of the episode in HD in one sitting, and it does make a significant difference. Because I am feeling numb after watching it. Instagram is definitely to blame. I forgot all my complaints about editing and whatnot because I was so emotionally immersed. I’m pretty sure I forgot to blink a few times; the emotions were that overwhelming. Ani: instant feeling of regret

This is the same Ani who said some very hurtful things to Jhanak without feeling any remorse afterward. These words do not even compare to what he has said to her in the past. But now he is regretting his choice of words instantly. I am liking this new Ani.

Jhanak: Kisi ka gift kisi aur ko dena...

Ani: Aisa hua hai kya kabhi?

Jhanak thinks of her sindoor (her right, her gift) that Ani is going to pass on to Arshi soon, while Ani thinks of the love (the gift) he showed to Arshi in front of Jhanak. His heart loves Jhanak but he dared to share (gift dena) that love with someone else! He is on the verge of losing her forever, is he now realizing the gravity of his silly actions? I think so...

Convincing Jhanak to put the ring on his finger... using his wicked convincing powers...

Ani: Gift tum like aayi ho to tum hi muze pehanao...

If that is the case, he should have allowed Arshi to put the ring on as well. Love is making our lying machine a bit sloppy!

At this moment, Ani has given himself to Jhanak willingly, and wholeheartedly. .. When someone falls in love, they forget themselves and belong entirely to the other person...

That head nod to tell Jhanak to go ahead and put the ring on his ring finger without any hesitation

as if that's where it belongs

as if only Jhanak has all the right to do so

And looking at the finger with the ring in awe as if that is what it has been missing! The ring became his life's most precious gift because Jhanak put it on him.

Jhanak on the other hand is also baffled at this divine intervention. The woman who tries so hard to suppress her love and affection, can't help but blush knowing the love of her life is going to wear the ring forever and on the finger that is connected to his heart!

The pair choona sequence...

I know we all feel a little uncomfortable with this expression of love. I do too, but I tried to look at this from a different perspective. What can be the greatest form of love? How much greatness can love achieve? And the answer came to be was ...."ibadat" ... For Jhanak her love for Anirudh is "Ibadat"

For her loving Anirudh is as pure of a feeling as if she is worshiping her lord Shiva. Isn't that simply beautiful?

Ani: Ab jab nikal rahi ho to tumhe bura nahi lagega?

Jhanak: Bura lagega na.. appu di ke liye...

Hiba her tone, her softness in voice was simply marvelous about this scene. That "chedkhaniya" when you are in love... that is the feeling I got from this one.

Jhanak: koi plan bane to mere shaher aaiye ga...

Unable to break the world's most formidable wall that is Jhanak... Ani decided to break the physical wall... Maybe he will be able to break that at least?

Ani: Chot lagi hai to tumhe kya farq padata hai?

Last attempt to break through her...

Jhanak: Mai chalati hoon

Alas, the efforts went in vain...

Ani: MAT JAO ... ( the urgency in his voice, uff Krushal you devilish genius! )

An open and direct attempt...

Looking at her as if, if she takes a step further he will crumble to the ground...

Looking at her in hopes for her to see the pain, see the need...

When all your attempts fail, the only option left is anger and frustration... but in that anger did he just confess to love for her? I think he did...

"tum kisi aur se pyaar karati ho" ... Kisi aur par gaur pharamaye... It's not "tum rahul se pyaar karati ho!" What he meant to say is ...

"Tum muz se nahi, kisi aur se pyaar karati ho. Tumhe kuch samaz me nahi aata hai na? Ya tum samaz ne ki koshish nahi karati ho?"

Jhanak dear, how can he be clearer than this? Ani... Jhanak is not one to break so easily. It's going to take a lot more honesty than this.

Ani's childish attempts to aggravate Jhanak with the mention of Rahul seem to be failing miserably. Jhanak is not one to sit back and watch. Aakhir biwi kiski hai!

Jhanak: Arshi didi, unhe hurt mat kijiye ga...

You know what they say, wife ke aage kisi husband ki nahi chalti! We are seeing a defeated wounded husband here!

And the last but not the least

Ani: Jhanak... (and the look!)

Jhanak: (slightly hopeful eyes with a pinch of happiness on her face, may be just may be he will stop me...)

Ani: (with a painful smile) Khush rehana...

Jhanak: the hope is again shattered... again... her heart breaks into a million pieces again...

Both: ( So this is the final goodbye! )

The so-called liar Anirudh is now on a path of speaking and seeking the truth. And the one who hates to lie, and always speaks the truth, is lying her way out of this whole conversation! How tables have turned!

I still need to watch the rest of the episode...

I completely agree with you.. except for the falling at feet.. I agree this is devotion.. but hasn’t she expressed this already.. I felt it was unnecessary, also Ani is still a human being… a flawed but exceptional human being.. when you put a person in such a high pedestal.. the next time he falls, it’s going to be one ugly mess. The repercussions of such a fall might render her in utter dismay.. and may even leave their relationship beyond repair..

Although I felt Hiba did a much better job than Krushal here..I felt like he holding back a little, his emotions seemed a bit dampened down compared to hers. But in saying that- Jhanak is confusing at times. She knows Ani loves her. But sometimes she stops him from expressing it, and other times it looks like she wants him to acknowledge it and is annoyed that he is giving away her right to Arshi. I'm like, madam what do you really want ?!

I am at my evilest best atm, I want Ani to full gadar machao ! Now that J is out of the picture, he has 'nothing to lose' and 'no one to protect' and 'nothing to fear' ! His fears are gone with J.

Pel do sabko Ani, choon choon ke maro, Bips ko cheap thrills bada pasand hai, give her a taste of her own medicine ! Chir Phad do ! Bhasm kar do !

They have all shattered, stiffled and smothered his dream -

• his dream of protecting an orphan who recently lost her mother, her only one that was her own,
• his dream of giving her a safe haven,
• his noble intent of not being another 'man' who ditched her, like her dad,
• his ultimate dream of seeing her bloom to her full potential,
• her battle that he has adopted, to see her be so successful that she can avenge the wrongdoings her mom was meted with
• his dream of just seeing her happy, safe and sound - khush rehna Jhanak, tum bbas khush rehna, zyada kuchh toh maang nehi raha main - a pure, simple and selfless dua!

All of the above, is above his dream and wish of hoping that J loves him back !

And they have pushed him to take the toughest decision of his life - that is, to throw J out of his life and straight into danger ! How he tries to reason out - puri gaaon milke ek ladki ka dekhbhaal nehi kar payenge kya!
