I watched the first half of the episode in HD in one sitting, and it does make a significant difference. Because I am feeling numb after watching it. Instagram is definitely to blame. I forgot all my complaints about editing and whatnot because I was so emotionally immersed. I’m pretty sure I forgot to blink a few times; the emotions were that overwhelming. I had to pause after the nighttime scene before continuing.

Some scenes just hit the spot for me, I want to write about it because I felt they were beautifully performed! Sorry its a long one!

Ani: "kya hua Jhanak naraz ho gai kya?"

Jhanak: "Naraz ? samaz aata hai aapako?"

Ani: instant feeling of regret

This is the same Ani who said some very hurtful things to Jhanak without feeling any remorse afterward. These words do not even compare to what he has said to her in the past. But now he is regretting his choice of words instantly. I am liking this new Ani.

Jhanak: Kisi ka gift kisi aur ko dena...

Ani: Aisa hua hai kya kabhi?

Jhanak thinks of her sindoor (her right, her gift) that Ani is going to pass on to Arshi soon, while Ani thinks of the love (the gift) he showed to Arshi in front of Jhanak. His heart loves Jhanak but he dared to share (gift dena) that love with someone else! He is on the verge of losing her forever, is he now realizing the gravity of his silly actions? I think so...

Convincing Jhanak to put the ring on his finger... using his wicked convincing powers...

Ani: Gift tum like aayi ho to tum hi muze pehanao...

If that is the case, he should have allowed Arshi to put the ring on as well. Love is making our lying machine a bit sloppy!

At this moment, Ani has given himself to Jhanak willingly, and wholeheartedly. .. When someone falls in love, they forget themselves and belong entirely to the other person...

That head nod to tell Jhanak to go ahead and put the ring on his ring finger without any hesitation

as if that's where it belongs

as if only Jhanak has all the right to do so

And looking at the finger with the ring in awe as if that is what it has been missing! The ring became his life's most precious gift because Jhanak put it on him.

Jhanak on the other hand is also baffled at this divine intervention. The woman who tries so hard to suppress her love and affection, can't help but blush knowing the love of her life is going to wear the ring forever and on the finger that is connected to his heart!

I know we all feel a little uncomfortable with this expression of love. I do too, but I tried to look at this from a different perspective. What can be the greatest form of love? How much greatness can love achieve? And the answer came to be was ...."ibadat" ... For Jhanak her love for Anirudh is "Ibadat"

For her loving Anirudh is as pure of a feeling as if she is worshiping her lord Shiva. Isn't that simply beautiful?

Ani: Ab jab nikal rahi ho to tumhe bura nahi lagega?

Jhanak: Bura lagega na.. appu di ke liye...

Hiba her tone, her softness in voice was simply marvelous about this scene. That "chedkhaniya" when you are in love... that is the feeling I got from this one.

Jhanak: koi plan bane to mere shaher aaiye ga...

Unable to break the world's most formidable wall that is Jhanak... Ani decided to break the physical wall... Maybe he will be able to break that at least?

Ani: Chot lagi hai to tumhe kya farq padata hai?

Last attempt to break through her...

Jhanak: Mai chalati hoon

Alas, the efforts went in vain...

The so-called liar Anirudh is now on a path of speaking and seeking the truth. And the one who hates to lie, and always speaks the truth, is lying her way out of this whole conversation! How tables have turned!

Wonderful! Beautifully written! I just watched the episode now as well..the scene played out beautifully. Although I felt Hiba did a much better job than Krushal here..I felt like he holding back a little, his emotions seemed a bit dampened down compared to hers. Jhanak breaking down in her room was really heart breaking to watch! The angst of falling in love with someone she could never have...

But in saying that- Jhanak is confusing at times. She knows Ani loves her. But sometimes she stops him from expressing it, and other times it looks like she wants him to acknowledge it and is annoyed that he is giving away her right to Arshi. I'm like, madam what do you really want ?!

Bold 1: I think that was on purpose. Stopping himself from bursting into flame and hurting her like he did before, or in other moments crying like a puppy and ending up becoming the most vulnerable one who will get hurt in the end knowing Jhanak won't reciprocate.

Ye Jhanak ka nahi, writer ka qasoor hai as the charcaterization part is inconsistent.

Maslan, The hut mein hatna hatana wagera wagera, after which Ani starts feeling like Arshi is ‘parayi auraat’ ! In short one closeness killed the other, it serves as the last nail in the coffin and severes the last string that Anishi was attached with.

Toh I think Tejas ke dere mein Ani ko dekh , J comes running to him aur ek hug mil jayegi (cliche but I ain’t complaining l) 😂😂

This whole paas ana started at the ashriwad rasam when there was catch and fall and Jhanak landed on Anirudh’s bahen and him ended up enveloping her around his arm which tightly clasped to her waist.

From there Ani’s bande howe jazbat got free access to her and he didn’t hesitate one bit to show off his rights on her after that. I think he has always wanted to come close to her. He just got lucky with Rain, Shed and kaali raat which just added up to his romantic mood. Jhanak being this close to him, almost cheek kissing was something he couldn’t resisted and never fell for!

Don’t forget the neck kiss! Us dekha baad main, but I am sure he must have felt good too!

So bring on Tejas-Ani show down! I am waiting for all the cliche moments. Who will get hurt first?

@bold: I thought the same. He literally meant “Tum Mujh se nahe kisi aur se pyar karti ho” questioning her there so firmly.

There were a lot of explicit hints. He was trying attempts as you mentioned in the hope that at least she’ll speak up even if it’s indirect, she’ll say something. It’s was frustrating because she was LEAVING forever. It was a BIG DEAL!

Alas, he gave up and said the famous “kuch nahe” He was disappointed and upset at her.

He came down the next morning with the same attitude. Doesn’t care what she says, he’ll do what he wants now but now won’t put much effort.

Their whole ring conversation was subtle but very profound.
