Commenting on the college situation in the US, it has been pretty bad since for decades, only one side - the Left - saw the importance of influencing the youth so that they would one day turn out to be spoiled, woke brats! I went to one in 1992, and our school paper had articles that were as biased as lamestream media, and ridiculous letters from students

For instance, there was one letter one day that complained about the lawn sprinkler setups on campus. During summer, at the rim of the campus lawns that were sprawling all over the place, there would be rotating sprinklers that would be watering a certain radius of the lawn, so that the grass would remain lush green. Sometimes, due to the hilly gradient of that ground, the excess water would spill into the cemented pathways that ran beside it. One of the letters complained about that, alleging that it was making it more dangerous to walk. Like people never walked on wet pathways during or after the rains. When I tried to discuss how ridiculous that complaint was w/ a classmate of mine, he disagreed w/ me

Given the inflated rates of US colleges today, my suggestion to any graduate from Indian colleges is - hard pass! Long term, there's no way you're gonna recoup the money needed to repay your college loan if you study in a US college, and they don't even do good career counseling. Instead, look at skills trade certifications, whether it is to be an IT specialist (Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, et Al) or if you're good w/ your hands, things like plumbing, nursing, car repair & so on. Those are real skills that people have a need for, and while some of it may be automated in the long term, the need for it will always be there. Or have portable skills that can work across market segments, be it banking, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, utilities and so on
