Should Hrithik have been cast as Lord Ram in Ramayana?

I think he has the looks for the charachter of Lord Ram. No-one can beat him in that department.

Not only that, he's talented to a fault. He has the acting chops needed to pull off the role.

Ranbir is good, but Hrithiku is perfect.

Perfect wins over good, right? What were the makers thinking by not casting him

Ranveer Singh would’ve been the best, if we are forced to only pick from the known faces. He already proved playing the mystical characters with 3 of SLB’s movies very convincingly that too…Though I would’ve preferred a completely new and younger guy playing the role surprising me with his acting and aura.

Hrithiku is old now Minty, not that Ranbu is any younger

No Hrithik he is old, and neither is Ranbir...

If they can use CGI to de-age Ranbir, they can do the same for Hrithik (and he wont need as much because he doesnt drink or have a bloated face)
