Rani turned down two roles opposite Akshay Kumar

It has come to light that hot Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee was offered a number of roles opposite Akshay Kumar which she turned down.

According to rumours, Rani was offered the role of the mother in Heyy Babyy, which then went to Vidya Balan. Rani was also offered a pivotal part in Bhool Bhullaiyya, a role which again went to Vidya Balan. Both of these films became super hits.

When Rani was asked as to why she turned down these two very good roles, the actress responded by saying, "I want to essay characters which I have not done before. My fans have given me so much love and respect that I want to make them happy about my performances. These films, however, went on to become huge hits. I am still waiting for a good offer opposite Akshay."

Was Rani wrong to turn down these films, bearing in mind that she hasn't had a hit film since Black? Are film-makers now signing up Vidya Balan in roles that are meant for Rani Mukherjee? Should Rani make movies with other production houses and not keep herself tied with boyfriend Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films? We would love to hear your thoughts… please use the

boyfriend?? i cant remember her saying in any interview that she has a boyfriend
anyways i think it is upto her what role she does and i dont think she is bothered if it is a hit or flop.

she made a good decision by turning down Hey Baby but Bhool Bhullaiya? rani should have grabbed the chance. if i'm not wrong rani has never played a possessed woman before right? the character of manjulika gave vidya a lot of scope to perform. rani would have also done justice to the role, maybe even better than vidya.😃 it's sad rani turned down that role as it could have revived her ailing career.

btw, in bhool bhullaiya vidya was never paired opposite akki. it was shiney ahuja she was paired with.😊

Last time I checked TRPP was a hit. I hated the movie, but it did make alot of money.

I guess Vidya's role in bhool bulaiya had so much charactr than rani's in TRP. I guess she just does adi n uash movies no matter how stereo type the role is . Frankly I feel she has always potrayed the girl next door image no matter what role she was given .
