I think he might have initially believed Jhanak had Rahul not called her on her birthday and Ani saw her relieved and smiling at the mention of his name... He was seething that despite him doing so much, he wasn't the one to bring the sense of safety and security to the point she could smile. When his entire reason for bringing her to his house was that he could keep her safe. And that theme kind of continued.... we never really saw her smile wholeheartedly because of him, directly in front of him and for him. Her smile always fades when she sees him. I am sure that has got to hurt him at some level. Hence his taunts and outbursts.

I am sure Rahul with a few words can make Jhanak smile because they almost only have positive and happy, nostalgic memories between them. But it's way more complicated between Ani and her. There is respect, but also anger and helplessness in her that his actions have led to the current outcome where her self-respect is attacked every day, with no permission to speak, almost like a deaf and mute slave. Also doesn't help ki woh bhi taana deta hai whenever he is angry/frustrated/hurt/betrayed making her feel completely alone in this journey they have together.

Awesome post. Just finished watching episode on tv. Some scene between ani and jk is not clear to me. As if now I can see jk loveto ani boy.

But I felt Janak cleared the misconception more than enough. Ani is not ready to buy that for some reason, I felt somewhere Ani is getting solace that Janak loves some one else just like he loves Arshi and there is no future for them.
