Death is like game for the writers same as ITV marriage .Showing suicide attempts that too of girls who are successful too . Doesnt that give trauma to their family members .

Like when Anirudh found Jhanak on balcony his first impression was did she take her life . See it creates mental fear for others too.

I hope the makers show less of these .

Yes, I feel like there is not only hate but I also sense an inherent disgust from Shubho towards Appu di and it is alarming to watch especially if I apply that observation to his interactions with Appu di.

The tolerance and understanding of neurodivergence/mental health have been poor in the past years in India and other SEA/SA countries. They just treat it as a self-centered arrogant problem/ some kind of superstitious possession. I have seen and experienced both these reactions to the extreme. And I kind of get where they come from... in their youth they had way more important issues pertinent to survival that they never gave time to think about themselves or introspect, so they don't have the capacity to understand why their children are this way. It's just easier to label them as Mentally ill and deal with it as resources for it is far easier to obtain than actual therapy or work through the correct issues. Hell, it's expensive even in the Western world. It's a vice that is realistically prevalent and unavoidable in the current world.

For Shubho and Tanuja who only value money, A source of drain upon their son's revenue like Appu is worthy of disgust and revulsion. She is a leech to them. There is also the resentment that this compromise is continuing well into their son's generation. They were forced to take care of finance in the name of Duty and Gratitude in their Heyday. How will these people think when their only son is also trapped in the same mire? (There are thankless and wrong in every way...)

But in terms of Anjana and the frequent occurrences of Suicide in the name of TRP within the show, I completely condemn it.

Me too. It's also a defense mechanism for him to avoid falling for her. Cuz, he finds her attractive not only physically but also personality-wise. Her fiery nature with the strength to standup against wrong and speak her mind, and her compassion to Appu di and other suppressed members of the Basu family have always been things that seduced him lol

I think he might have initially believed Jhanak had Rahul not called her on her birthday and Ani saw her relieved and smiling at the mention of his name... He was seething that despite him doing so much, he wasn't the one to bring the sense of safety and security to the point she could smile. And that theme kind of continued.... we never really saw her smile wholeheartedly because of him, directly in front of him and for him. Her smile always fades when she sees him. I know Anirudha isn't right here but don't know why I can understand his POV, Kind of relate to him, may be bcz I'm baised? Anyways I won't shy away from accepting that he is my favourite with all his flaws(grey shades).

People can make all kinds of theories like his jealousy will lead to RuNak breakup as he will do Jhanak's Character Assassination once they start living as married couple and she becomes top star and all but I can still sympathise with him and understand where he is coming from.

He is hurt, the picture of Jhanak forgetting all her pain and smiling wholeheartedly just by listening to Rahul's voice pierced his heart It felt as if he was asking "Tujhe Kitna Chaahe Aur Hum"- How much more do I have to love you (He wasn't exactly thinking about love literally but it was more on the lines of efforts).

Anirudha has high self esteem so he just couldn't take it that for Jhanak her selfish friend Rahul who ran away like a coward instead of saving her life/dignity has more value than him who actually saved her risking his entire existence being almost a stranger.

His Initial burst towards Jhanak was surely bcz of Shrishti but I'm sure gradually he would have forgotten what Shrishti had said specially after Jhanak in a way clarified that Rahul isn't her boyfriend/she isn't having an affair with him (though she wasn't absolutely clear In her clarification) bcz he doesn't trust Shrishti much anyways, had Rahul not called and Jhanak not been so happy with his call.

Also even after that incident Anirudha kept poking Jhanak regarding Rahul from online marriage to bank account incident but she never loudly and clearly said she never loved/never will love Rahul, He was just a friend of Mine (something which he badly wanted to listen to give assurance to his heart).

Anirudha has always been Star Boy of Basu family and everyone's 1st choice/centre of Attraction, In fact Even A Top Celebrity like Arshi also fell for him (not any other boy- she clearly said Anirudha has been 1st and last man of her life and she never paid attention to anyone else In her life) so he just couldn't take it that he isn't Jhanak's 1st choice/Priority (Specially when she matters most for him)

Lastly I would like to say that even though initially Rahul Might have had more importance in Jhanak's life, now his importance is much lesser than that of Anirudha in Jhanak's life.

Anirudha's is not just Jhanak's first love (and most probably last) which is always special but he is also the person whom she has loved the most in her life along with her mother and his contributions in her life is second to None which she totally acknowledges. Infact Jhanak's entire life revolves around Anirudha Bose who is also her husband and she has wholeheartedly accepted their marriage.

Exactly that is what I said in my previous post. This is high time Ani and Janak get married for real before everyone for whatsoever reasons. The status quo has to change otherwise the story will be the same with Janak continuing in Ani house as maid/refugee the same saga continues. I know the consequences of marriage will not be great but we can deal that later.

Red- My point exactly. I just gave a summarized version of it in my m previous updates/discussions and the quoted post. It always grates him that Jhanak actively shows him she is not into him.

Blue- it's just a POV difference. While I agree with Goddy ji that Jhanak probably gave what she thought was enough assurance to Ani that Rahul is not her bf. It's not so from his POV and I can see that the fact she is not affected by him, not at least until recently (Even her unreadable facial expressions added to it, but we ladies in the forum knew it is not the case) is what he would have inferred from her attitude.
