There are so many things a dad can love more than his kid. In fact, Ranbir himself made a movie about daddy issues.

The movie Animal was about an abnormal family......and exceptions don't make the rule....I am talking about a normal Dad.....and no ...a normal Dad may not show it....but no parent can love anyone more than their kids.

Why is it a guess? Who would Ranbir love more than Raha??

Is a "guess" something negative? I thought it is in a similar line as "assuming" and "supposing".

I cannot know for a fact who exactly has Ranbir's 'most' love (which I don't find important, btw, as love shouldn't be measured). But what I think about Ranbir makes me think that there is no doubt that he loves his daughter and likes to be her daddy... (isn't t h a t enough???)

At least when an important conversation is happening, can we try to see the bigger picture? All of us have been and still being subjected to subtle gender discrimination and what return to hades and iambollywood are saying is about that. NOT about your favorites.

When the woman of the house does the chores, nobody even blinks. Because apparently it’s her duty. She gets the attention only when she doesn’t do them. But when the man does even the smallest of the chores somehow he gets hailed for ‘helping’. Helping who? A mother changes 25 diapers a day, no big deal. The man changes a couple of them and becomes the talk of the town being hailed as the most involved father. And what does the mother get? Attention for being fat, losing hair, not being able to miraculously shed all the pregnancy weight like a so and so person or celebrity. Do we ever hear people praising a mom for carrying her child around or playing with her just doing the mom things?

I am not saying that whatever RTH said is not true....but in this thread.....there is no one who hailed Ranbir as a great Dad before her post......I would understand her ....if Ranbir fans......went on and on about how as a Dad he the next best thing after sliced bread.......The way he deals with Raha.....is cute and adorable.....and that is the truth....I would say the same thing about any parent.....I am just not getting the venting out in this thread.......if it is a serious topic.....then it should be discussed at an appropriate place....both you and me know.......that anything on this forum...any opinion.....is most of the times driven by....whether you like a celebrity or you don't.....so I still stand by what I said....

Here are two captions from the IG post.

"Raha Always with Him smiley27"

"His love for his daughter >>>>>>>>> everything"

My point is, why make a big deal about him wearing a shirt with his daughter's name? It is easy to put on a T-shirt, it doesn't mean anything. We have had so many pictures and videos of moms holding and interacting with their kids. People gush about how cute the kids are, but no one gushes about how cute or adorable the mom is for it.

This is a topic where people are gushing over a father and assuming his love for his daughter over a simple shirt. Where else do I point out how low the bar is for men? smiley36

While some people may agree with me simply because they dislike Ranbir, many others are wilfully blind to their biases because they like Ranbir. Why else would I get accused of "hating on Ranbir" for just pointing out a societal flaw? smiley36

If you want to gush on someone, gush over something they put effort into - their physique, body, and fitness levels, their immaculate dressing style and wardrobe, their sense of humor and their charisma, their skills and performances - not for pulling on a black shirt. I am sure Ranbir has many things going for him other than the ability to buy a shirt with his daughter's name on it.

OK...ok....I get it now....I didn't read what was written there.....smiley36

That is why I was surprised.....at why of all the people you will come with your guns blaring in a Ranbir thread where no one said anything yet......my bad.....most of the times I miss reading the comment on the insta post....smiley36

Personally.....I find it cute when parent's gush over their kids.....like Alia with her heart post and Bira always carrying around Raha everywhere....I find it too cute....and I don't think much of it beyond that......I don't think that celebrities gushing over their kids even deserve such a serious discussion.....

Anyways......had I seen what a Ranbir fan wrote on that insta post....I wouldn't have reacted at all......it is just you commenting on it caught me unawares......had you pointed it out in your first post....we wouldn't be having this discussionsmiley36...trust me ....I went twice to check the first page to see what I missed...smiley36
