Look at the audacity of this writing team. Even after seeing dipping ratings they made Surya a separate character.

This whole time, I felt cool as a cucumber because I started believing that this was our August Babu in disguise with or without memory loss. We were joking about the future banter and upcoming marriage. But now everything feels wrong. That flashback cemented the fact that this is Surya and the one who died that day was Agastya.

Same as Sharada and Ren, I feel cheated. Everyday, we see Imlie allow herself to live only because of her promise to her Babu. Because he wanted her to fulfil her goals, instead she’s been dragged down by his family drama. Even today, seeing not only the Chaudhary’s but also Surya taunt her was so annoying. She again got thrown out of the house and it was worse than the precap.

See now my motivation to watch the show is dying because every time Surya will touch her, I’ll remember how he’s not Agastya. Her mistreatment is going to continue and part of it will be because of the person who shares the same face as the love of her life. Since Binni also put in Dadi’s mind that Imlie is trying to take away another grandson of hers, the shaming will start.

This feels so cruel, her rajkumar will never be back and instead she’ll have to settle for the rakshas instead. Their story will be incomplete when they still had so much to experience together. Does Gul have a thing against happiness? Their story ended at the agar magar ki dagar…we never got see them enjoy their married life.

In a twisted way, Surya almost understands Imlie’s predicament of always being blamed for things. Hopefully, they’re not going to make her sympathize too much with him because of it. I’m not excited anymore for the upcoming track y’all. Someone bring positivity back in the AT, today’s episode dubao-ed all of my umeed with rain.

Indeed I am very disappointed today. The writers had a golden opportunity here to make such an entertaining plot with one simple twist of making this guy Agastya..in my personal opinion, it would have been fun if he was Agastya without the memory loss as he would remember everything and it would be beautiful to see Agaslie sneaking around the house after Imlie finds out its Agastya and they work together to find out who planned to kill both Agastya and Surya..I had even imagined a "Mehendi Laga ke rakhna" type situation in my head where Agastya flirts with Imlie to find out her truth and Imlie tells him "Ab aur kuch na kehna, ab aur kuch na karna"..but even a gheesa peeta memory loss track would have been ok..

I defended this guys saying it could be Agastya trying to get Imlie out of her maid avatar..we analyzed dialogues, behaviors, compared scenes...

And today my heart is broken...Agastya without memory loss, Agastya with memory loss or Surya..none of them could justify this behavior towards Imlie...I mean..if it really is Agastya, this is obviously unforgivable..if it is Surya, I understand why the creators might be tempted to show this misunderstanding-clarification but I am far too past my limits to see the same rinse and repeat cycle again...

First of all, showing a romance between an identical twin brother and his sibling's ex-wife is creepy..even if I look past that, this Surya's character is another version of Agastya himself before he showed growth by trusting Imlie...misunderstanding Imlie, throwing her out, unreasonably blind love for your own family despite them being borderline abusive to you, manhandling, everything is the same...then why??

And that Surya's mom...she went to my head today...I had called her Navya 2.0 earlier and she totally justified it today..great..abuse your own child for your own good...I mean, the scene in the flashback where apparantely she left a sick Surya out without a blanket...its wrong on sooo many levels...leave aside as a mother but even as a human...she should be put in jail for that..

Daadi is another character with no shame...I mean, looking away from an injured person? I can never forgive that..and its not just daadi and badi maaji..even chachiji is not leaving any chance to badmouth Imlie??

What are the writers doing..see I am strongly of the opinion that- better create a show that sticks to your idea instead of serving something to please the TRP audience..bcz you never know what the audience will like and its like chasing a moving flagpost...instead, if you tell a beautiful story, at least you will have that satisfaction, no matter for how much ever short period it stays on air...let's say that's hypothetical in today's world..but these creators are even turning away the loyal fanbase that they have developed over the last few months just to chase after some numbers..isase achcha to Agaslie ki happy ending kara ke show band kar dete..indeed they made these lines true for Agaslie-

Tu na mila re hume to kahani mili...lipti gulon me ghamon ki jubani mili..

Tha aisa raja nahi jisko rani mili..

But at least stick to "Teri meri kahani hai ye" now instead of jumping ships every now and then..

I am giving it one more week..if Surya is indeed Surya, I am quitting girls..

@bold:- Exactly. The dipping ratings tell them that the audience would want Agastya back. The reach has gone down so much but still the writing team hain ki they are like - Dekhna hain toh Dekho. We are going to show Surya as a separate character only and that too twin brother of Agastya. Ab kya kar loge tum kind of audacity.

Yesterday I was happy that Malti was shown as over possessive towards her Anna and today they threw water on all of that and showed Surya having his childhood ka flashbacks. They literally wove a beautiful love story and in the beginning all the symbolisms were like - This marriage will be for life blah blah and now they are going to show Imlie marrying her dead husband's twin brother. Whatever - it is leaving a bitter distaste in my mind and I hope the show ends soon if this is the way they are taking the story forward.

The award of worst storyline goes to - Imlie 3.

They had to do just one thing. Never show flashback. People here wanted atleast one hint that Surya is Agastya. The writers listened and gave a pakka wala hint to show Surya is Surya.

Yes the team better stick to one storyline. Arey they going to show that by some miracle Agastya also survived and Surya and Imlie are going to find it ? I can not take scenes of Surya and Imlie - Not when that guy is Imlie's dead husband's twin.

None of the family members are even human at this point. They very conveniently ignore all the wrong doings of their family members - like Alka abandoning a new born baby but they are stuck on bad mouthing Imlie. And Surya is also equally abused in his house - He is also like Imlie craving for their acceptance.

If this guy is Surya and they are still planning to take Surya - Imlie being together then I am quitting. I will go back and watch Agastya and Imlie ka contract marriage phase. I have no wish to watch the same abuse rinse and repeat cycle of Imlie now being orchestrated by Surya and co.

I agree with you. It is like the writers listen to the audience and then give exactly opposite to what the audience asked for. The audience asked for some hints that Surya is Agastya. Nope they got the twin brother truth out and today they gave a pakka wala hint that this guy is Surya who lived with the Reddys and Malti the Balti.

So that guy who died that day was Agastya. And now the writers are going to weave a love story between a widow and her dead husband's twin brother. This is so weird and so utter rubbish.
