I’m telling y’all Raj from DDLJ is on the writing team. Jab dekho “palat palat palat” and the story changes in a different direction. All my hope got ruined like Imlie’s bandage by the water on the floor, although I’m finding it hard to believe that something will mend it at this point.

This whole time, I felt cool as a cucumber because I started believing that this was our August Babu in disguise with or without memory loss. We were joking about the future banter and upcoming marriage. But now everything feels wrong. That flashback cemented the fact that this is Surya and the one who died that day was Agastya.

Same as Sharada and Ren, I feel cheated. Everyday, we see Imlie allow herself to live only because of her promise to her Babu. Because he wanted her to fulfil her goals, instead she’s been dragged down by his family drama. Even today, seeing not only the Chaudhary’s but also Surya taunt her was so annoying. She again got thrown out of the house and it was worse than the precap.

See now my motivation to watch the show is dying because every time Surya will touch her, I’ll remember how he’s not Agastya. Her mistreatment is going to continue and part of it will be because of the person who shares the same face as the love of her life. Since Binni also put in Dadi’s mind that Imlie is trying to take away another grandson of hers, the shaming will start.

This feels so cruel, her rajkumar will never be back and instead she’ll have to settle for the rakshas instead. Their story will be incomplete when they still had so much to experience together. Does Gul have a thing against happiness? Their story ended at the agar magar ki dagar…we never got see them enjoy their married life.

In a twisted way, Surya almost understands Imlie’s predicament of always being blamed for things. Hopefully, they’re not going to make her sympathize too much with him because of it. I’m not excited anymore for the upcoming track y’all. Someone bring positivity back in the AT, today’s episode dubao-ed all of my umeed with rain.

Dadi is so ehsanfaramosh. She saw Imlie struggle with the patti still turned away. This was the same girl who took care of her when she didn’t even know her. How will she ever redeem herself. Whatever she does after the truth is out will never be enough redemption.

Surya being slapped and snubbed was so depressing to watch. This is exactly how Agastya was with his family. Majboor and always bending over backwards to make his family happy at the cost of his own. They showed a flashback of Surya as a child. How will this be Agastya with a memory loss if this man is getting flashbacks. What is going on. I don’t want to watch the show if it is not Agastya. I mean what is the point of killing Agastya to make Surya equally majboor.

Everyone is again shaming Imlie. This is too much. This whole family needs to be left on their own. I’m hating the fact that Imlie has no financial security. She is back to the roads, getting wet in the rain in the night. Agastya ne promise kia tha na to take care of her and always keep her happy. I want to give the choicest gaalis to him.

Agastya jaate jaate usko barbaad kar dia. Got Binni in the house as his wife before the society, married Imlie and she became a widow without any recognition as his legal wife before the world, upar se made her promise to take care of this good for nothing family.

Aaj Imlie ki halath dekhi nahi gayi. She cares for so many people but does not even have a handful people caring for her. I loved Surya ka background when he brought her back home. It was nice to see Surya tend to her wounds. I can see his majboori and hate towards Imlie. He is so majboor about his sister.

It was all the more upsetting to see Imlie dream about Agastya. I am not liking her pain and sadness. Girl is so much in pain. She does not want to be close to him anymore. I was happy Imlie did not give any clarification to Surya as he would not believe her anyway. Not sure why Malti told the truth to Surya.

Imlie does not trust Surya enough to tell him what happened with Raghu anna.

This annoying dadi will happily get Binni married off to Surya but wont let Imlie be married off.

I feel Binni ka end may be near. They may slowly reveal the truth. Hopefully the blackmailer troubles her a lot so she stops getting in the way.

I dont know what the writers want to do. Did they really kill off Agastya. Is this man Surya and not Agastya with memory loss. Is Agastya alive and in coma somewhere toh why are they showing Surya get close to Imlie. Agar yehi karna tha why did they make us all fall in love with Agastya so much.

The writers are dilly dallying with the Surya vs Agastya plot and it is getting out of hand. Not sure if this is worth the risk. Trps clearly indicated people loved Agastya toh why are they doing this.

@bold:- The reach of Imlie which went up to 3.6 with Agastya and Imlie ka love story has fallen to 3.1. Granted last week was an anomaly maybe because of Shiv Shakti airing longer duration episodes but is very clear that common trp audience loved Agastya. So the team better show that Agastya is alive somewhere. If this is Surya and by the looks of it, it is Surya only as they are showing flashbacks for the character also then what happened to Agastya.

I can not take that they have killed Agastya when there are so many storylines that did not get closure. Meera did not get the respect and love of her son. Heck Meera did not even got to know that she had twin sons. The family never knew the truth of Binni - Agastya ka contract marriage and Agastya and Imlie ka real marriage.

This dilly dallying with Surya vs Agastya plot is going to make the trp audience tune off. This has been 3 weeks since Agastya ka death happened. Any other show would have showed the guy in coma somewhere recovering. But these writers are like playing Inky pinky ponky with one day being Surya and other day being doubtful. No wonder the audience is now tuning out. I am doubtful the trps and reach going up if they persist with this storyline. Whatever they do I hope they don't stretch it too much and wait longer to disclose the truth and then they will close all the ways they can get Agastya back. Audience when they move away then it would be hard to get them back.

Why did they have to equate Imlie Agastya with Savitri Satyavan if Imlie would not bring back her Satyavan from the clutches of death. Why are they still showing her connected in such a selfless way to Agastya, his promise and his memories. Imlie has no future, no hopes and no aspirations left. All that is left is her selfless love for her husband (which has no standing in the society) and her giving up her self respect everyday to fulfill the promise she made him while he died.

What about the promises Agastya made Imlie - to keep her happy, to always take care of her, to give her the family she craved for. This all feels wrong on so many levels. They crashed the hopes of all of us on the AT. We all waited through these difficult weeks with only one hope that this is our August babu. Not sure who is this sadistic person who is writing the script. I dont see the trps going up with the tracks they are planning.

As someone said on this AT, Agastya was the soul of the show. They should not have made his character this good if they wanted to pivot towards Surya. You cant give us a half assed Surya by taking away someone as good as Agastya. This is unacceptable. I am not sure if I have any motivations left to watch the coming episodes. Even Sai as Surya (who is doing very well in a completely different avtaar) is not enough to keep us watching.

I am also looking for a ray of light in this pitch dark story at the moment.

@ Sharada, I know right, they did not give Agastya closure before he died. He never got to apologize to Meera and never got Meera her right place in the house and respect before his family. His whole life he hated his mother because he was told she killed his father. He got to know the truth and still was not able to have one last conversation with Meera. Even if they are showing Surya as the twin and Meera's son, he has no memories or relationship with Meera. Like he does not give a rat's ass about the Chaudharys (who are just a means for him to reach to the truth of Raghu anna's disappearance), he has no motivations to get Meera the respect she deserves. Heck, he has a foster mother whose love and acceptance he craves, toh Meera ka toh number hi kab aayega.

I told you na Meera actress was shooting and so they will likely bring her back.

While the episode was super interesting because of the focus on the leads, it does not give me hopes for the coming tracks.

Truth be told, I wasn’t this upset or disappointed even when they showed Agastya ka death. There was somewhere that hope that they will bring Agastya back. But I don't know what the creatives plan to do anymore. I don’t have any hopes left. They ruined such a beautiful story with their stupidity.

Agastya did not deserve to die when he did, Imlie didn’t deserve to be left alone in this world after getting a family she craved for. This is all too depressing and worse of all, trp bhi nai aa rahi.

But this week ka episodes proved that this guy is Surya only. His main priority is his sister and his family and with the flashback they showed today of Surya and Malti being children, they kind of cemented the fact that this is Surya. There is no memory loss and no chance of Agastya being Surya in disguise.

I am so angry on the writers ki I want to ask them - Do they have any plan in their minds or they are just hoping to run the show on Sai - Adrija's chemistry alone.

Imlie had a vibe earlier - with the gaon ki bar singer and rich zammindar who falls for her. With the retro songs and the colorful sarees of Adrija it was a nice watch. Now it is so gloomy to watch and our beautiful love story got killed for sake of trps. I did not like Surya coming and doing patti to Imlie and Imlie touching him thinking to be her babu - it felt wrong on all levels as Surya is brother of her late husband and she is wife of his dead twin.

It was not just the actors that clicked with the audience, it was their story, the retro songs which gave us all feels due to the nostalgia of it etc. I don't want to see Surya touch her anymore. She is married to someone even if he is dead, no less than his twin. It was really sad seeing her dream of Agastya. Us bechari ki puri life revolves around Agastya yaar. What kind of future will she ever have without him.

I should have learnt by lesson with Gul (she ruins things by the end of it all) - Geet main maan never got back his memory, IB main she showed Shivika go to the alternate universe to reboot their love story but they were never the same, then the show took a leap with Nox and another actor. Seriously I feel like giving up.

I am going to abuse the Sad emoticon today. I am feeling so disappointed. I was very hopeful when they showed over possessive Malti yesterday. But then they had to pivot back and make Malti good and on top of it they gave a childhood flashback for Surya too - thereby cementing that this is Surya and not Agastya. Until I saw the flashback scene I was hoping that this was Agastya with memory loss. But nope this is Surya.

And I can not accept Surya with Imlie because he is not Agastya. I don't think the trp audience are also going to accept Surya in Agastya's place as Imlie and Agastya ka love story was so full of love and promises. And they had the Savitri Satyavan track in the show. I was hoping that Imlie will get Agastya back somehow thereby equating it to how Savitri got her husband back but ab hopes bahut kam hain.

Can they just show Agastya recovering somewhere in coma please and Imlie can find him with Surya's help and then Surya moves away from the family peacefully. I can not take Surya and Imlie ka marriage also as it feels wrong on all levels.

All this makes mad at Agastya again. Ren, it’s time to pull out the gaaliyans. He left her in such a horrible state.

Imlie has been a devotee of Radharani her entire life, she has been this loving bubbly girl who always treated everyone with kindness. She worked herself like crazy to be able to take care of Ashu. She endured all of Mami’s ill treatement and the badnami of being a bar singer in a village. Like Agastya had mentionned, this girl always looks for the good in people and deep down only wants love. In the episode where Meera left, it was the first time we actually saw Imlie open up and share her yearning for a family.

Agastya promised to give her that love and that family. And for someone who’s never allowed herself to even dream of such a reality, he was offering her the world. The whole Kairi reveal happened at the mandap and he left. Dadi went all crazy and he stupidly decided to fake marry another girl till she got better. No background check, nothing.

After the Ashu kidnapping and Navya’s reveal as the real villain, they rushed to get married. When she voiced her fear of believing that long term happiness isn’t for her, he reassured her saying that he wouldn’t let anything take him away from her. Not even 30 minute later, he died. He left her with a heavy promise of taking care of his family and a void in her heart. He took every part of her that knew how to be happy with him. He didn’t even try to survive for the sake of their love, he just gave up.

And now because of his mistake and his promise, she’s facing so much humiliation and she’s living through terrible conditions. She overworked herself without proper rest, shelter or nutrition running the aloo puri thela and going to school during that first month. His promise brought her back to the Chaudhary mansion as a maid, whilst his fake wife gets pampered and his twin brother makes her life even harder to live.

Sukoon naam ki koi cheez hai iss ladki ki zindagi mein? Is the only happy ending she’ll get be in another 100 episodes (if we even get there) when she settles for Surya?

I really feel bad for Imlie, why couldn’t they let her be with her Babu…

I think the only show of Gul that did not get destroyed was IPK as that was because Barun quit and the show had to close down due to fans demand. Warna Gul had planned a love story of Khushi with the one who was going to kill Arnav. Gul is sadistic man. I had all hopes of this love story being unique and the whole retro vibe was so good. Every day I was looking forward to the songs as much as I was looking forward to the story.

But Gul ko apna karna tha - She literally killed Agastya on the day of their wedding. And today after this much dilly dallying they have cemented the fact that this is Surya. Ab dekhna hain toh dekho kind of types.

I feel like giving up if Agastya is not coming back. I am going to give this coming week the last chance. If they give indication that Agastya is alive somewhere then I will continue watching the show. Else I will quit it. I can not take Surya marrying Imlie - That would taint her love towards her babu and she definitely did not love Agastya due to the face. The love she felt towards her babu was so different - She risked dying to save him, She was ready to die and kill for his sake. And now they are going to justify her marrying Surya who is technically her Jeth ? I hate it. Isse acha they could have showed Agastya getting boycotted by his family and how Imlie and Agastya again mend their relationships with the family back.

Red: 100%. And Imlie is the heart of the show and that heart has stopped beating with Agastya’s death. She has lost so much that it makes me sad just thinking about it. Despite that with every remaining breath, she thinks of her Babu. Do they seriously expect us to believe that this girl will move on with her husband’s twin brother? Radha will never meet her Shyam again and Savitri won’t bring back her Satyawan from death?

Bold: Without Agastya, she can only settle for mediocre now. His family will keep nagging her and Surya is going to make her life hell in his own way. She can’t even be a widow in peace.

Chalo. Ab tata bye bye kehne ka waqt. Aa gaya. I will not accept Surya as an individual character because I don't find any endearing qualities in him.
