She said her favorite food made by her mother. She may be lied about being vegan. She was living in the khan family where meat is cooked often. Why lie?

It is not easy to stay vegan, but one should not lie about it.

It could be. Being a vegan specially can be challenging I assume. It takes a lot of discipline and will power. So for people who see these things as their way of life it probably is a pride thing.

For some celebrities it might be an opportunity for some brand deals or becoming part of an initiative or organization, which in turn becomes opportunities for publicity and income. It is very much possible she changed her mind which is her prerogative. But because she made sure to let everyone know she was vegan it’s become a hypocrisy thing now. And the internet doesn’t spare anyone. Did you see how the slowed down the part where she said she’s a vegetarian and replayed it three times?
