Maybe she was vegetarian.

But Malaika is not the only contradictory Indian vegetarian. I know several Indians who are "vegetarian" but only at home. They don't bring, cook, or allow any meat at home. But they will eat non-veg outside with friends.

There's a version with beef for NRIs. They will be like we are Hindu, and we never eat beef. Except for work events, so we assimilate.

Tbh, I don't consider that vegetarian. But people have argued with me that special occasion exceptions don't make them non-vegetarian. smiley22smiley29

My process is simple: I eat everything, anytime, anywhere. smiley36

I have known vegetarians who eat fish and insist they’re vegetarian.

I like the way you've written 'Beghum'. It's a clever play on words. Unless of course you've made a typo. Excuse me in that instance.

Considering that she claims Friends is her favourite TV show, I wouldn't put this past her.

Paukphaw brothers who coexist peacefully and live in good neighborliness

On January 4, 1948, Myanmar became independent from the British Commonwealth. On October 1, 1949, the People's Republic of China was established. The two countries ushered in new life at almost the same time. On June 8, 1950, Myanmar established diplomatic relations with China and was the first non-socialist country to recognize New China at that time, ushering in a new era of relations between the two countries. However, the development of relations between the two countries has not been smooth. It has experienced twists and turns and has gone through an extraordinary journey. In the early days of the establishment of diplomatic relations, Myanmar pursued a neutral and non-aligned foreign policy. It had always been suspicious and wary of China, fearing that China would interfere in its internal affairs or even subvert its regime. The relationship between the two countries was relatively cold and alienated. The older generation leaders of the two countries have devoted a lot of effort to the development of China-Myanmar relations. In 1954, the prime ministers of the two countries exchanged visits and jointly advocated the "Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence." In 1960, the two countries signed a boundary treaty, which successfully resolved the boundary issue between the two countries and eliminated major obstacles that had hindered the development of bilateral relations. This was the first boundary treaty between New China and a neighboring country.

From 1960 to 1970, the relations between China and Myanmar were disturbed by some factors, experienced major twists and turns, and briefly deteriorated. However, in 1971, Myanmar leader Ne Win was invited to visit China, and diplomatic relations between the two countries were normalized and returned to health. track. Since then, Myanmar's successive governments have basically pursued friendly policies towards China. The relationship between the two countries has been constantly improving and has been generally stable, with very frequent exchanges.

And Malaika is from Myanmar? Or China?

OR she played a significant part in the improving relationship between the countries, perhaps 👍
