Bhansali offered him the role first, but SRK declined because he didn't perceive it as a substantial role in the movie (it isn't indeed a "meaty" role)

Personally, I'm happy that SRK didn't commit in vue of what happened during the BM and Dilwale clash. He also had a line up of other movies (Fan's post production, DZ, Raees, JHMS and Zero).

I haven’t watched the video but I mentioned this in the movie announcement thread that he should had declined. The PR may get ugly with this movie. Vicky personality is very different compare to Ranbir and Alia.

Shahid was not happy with SLB and he has indirectly mentioned it few times already.

But with this movie, Vicky worked with ranbir so many times, I have not seen a single movie of them together but it seems like they did 4 films together, alia also worked with vicky so this is not a first time casting working together, it's first time vicky working with slb.

Where did you hear that he signed the film because of dp? shahid signed the film coz he wanted to be part of a slb film, it had nothing to do with dp.

And there was no incident of shahid and rs fighting and dp having to break up the fight, I have never heard of such a rumour, and even if there is such a rumour it is complete nonsense. Shahid and rs have met a few times after padmavaat and they met warmly, so there wasn't anything too serious that happend on the sets.

So in the first article you posted, it's says this:

"I am very excited about the role he has offered me. This is the first time that Deepika and I will be working together which is great. This is the first time me and Ranveer will be working together, which is great," he said.

So shahid said the same thing about deepika and ranveer, he said he is excited to work with both, nowhere does he say he signed the film coz of dp.

In the second article shahid does not speak about any fued with ranveer, he actually says they would hang out and chill together.

And in the third article you posted it has nothing to do with padmaavat or ranveet, it's a rumour that shahid got upset with an awards organisers as he thought he would be getting the award but instead ranveer was getting it
